ABOUT DRITA: Drita D’Avanzo is the wife of Lee D’Avanzo, who federal prosecutors allege is the leader of a Bonanno and Colombo crime family farm team. While Drita’s husband is serving time in prison for bank robbery (for the second time), she is left alone raising their two young girls and freelancing as a make-up artist. Drita was raised in the projects of Staten Island after her family settled there from Albania. Under the aid of her hardnosed father who coached soccer, Drita would be invited to play for the Women’s National Soccer Team until she met her first love and decided against going. After a string of relationships, Drita met and fell in love with Lee. While pregnant with their first child, Lee would be sentenced to 8 years in prison for alleged bank robberies.
Drita realized during this time that she would need something to fall back on and that’s when she started her career as a make-up artist. She has since worked for various high-end cosmetic companies and plans to use her skills and initiative to one day develop her own cosmetic line.

Hilarious comic headlines the Arena on May 26th
One of the most successful comedians in the world today, Jeff Dunham, returns to Mohegan Sun Arena in support of his latest stand-up special Controlled Chaos on Saturday, May 26th at 8:00pm.

His limited-series commitment, The Jeff Dunham Show, premiered as the highest rated series in Comedy Central history with 5.3 million viewers in its initial airing. The DVD was released in May of 2010 and sold more than 100,000 units within the first four weeks.
In late 2010, Dunham released his autobiography, All By My Selves: Walter, Peanut, Achmed and Me, which immediately landed on the New York Times best-seller list. Dunham’s personal story is often interrupted by his characters who are quick to dispute Dunham’s recollection of their history together.
Dunham has also made many cameo appearances across television and film, from the Emmy-winning comedy series 30 Rock, to the Jay Roach-directed comedy Dinner For Schmucks, starring Steve Carell and Paul Rudd.

草蜢樂隊的成立是始於他們的童年，蔡一智和蔡一傑是兄弟，跟住在隔壁的蘇志威是兒時玩伴，由小學直到中學畢業，他們都是好朋友，對音樂及跳舞興趣濃厚。畢業後，蔡一智和蘇志威成為同事，但他們仍沒有放棄對音樂的抱負，當看到了無線舉辦的新秀歌唱大賽，他們便決定參加 —- 草蜢於1985 年正式成軍，在「笫四屆新秀歌唱大賽」中，他們憑一首自己填詞的作品「一起衝」入選決賽，憑著他們突出組合的台風被梅艷芳賞識簽為伴舞。
於1987 至1988 年其間，他們跟隨不少天王巨星如梅艷芳、張國榮及呂方等到世界各地演出，包括台灣、星加坡、澳洲、美國及加拿大等，他們精湛的舞蹈及對演藝事業的熱誠受到寶麗金唱片賞識，於1988 年與他們簽下歌手合約，並出版第一張唱片—- 「草蜢」，草蜢的銀色旅途由此展開。草蜢入行十年的第一個紅館演唱會 – 「草蜢三人主義演唱會」於95 年5 月隆重舉行，演唱會得到完滿的成功，實現了草蜢三人的最大心願也為草蜢的音樂事業邁進了另一階段。草蜢由一隊跳舞偶像組合成功蛻變成為今天的實力創作組合，雖然三人各自於 DJ、唱片監製、戲劇及主持各有所成，但他們對音樂的熱誠一直都未有退減。

Uncasville, CT – Mohegan Sun is giving guests their time to shine with the unveiling of Shine 360°, a space where guests can experience the excitement of a “phygital” experience. Patented technology in the Shine 360° enables creation of one-of-a-kind 360 degree video, capturing each guest’s shining moment in the spotlight and instantly sharing it through Facebook, Twitter and e-mail.
As the only casino in the world and first company in the United States to offer guests this experience, Mohegan Sun is excited to unveil this new technology from New York-based Digital Air on March 2nd.
Located in Casino of the Sky, across from the Arena Club entrance, this 24-foot wide installation captures users’ celebrity moments from every angle, creating a 360 video that they can immediately share with their social media ‘fans.’ There is no charge to use the booth; guests just need to be 21 years of age or older and be a Player’s Club member.

Chickenfoot, the Rock group featuring guitarist Joe Satriani, drummer Kenny Aronoff, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and front man Sammy Hagar have announced A Different Devil Tour in continued support of their newest record Chickenfoot III. George Lopez is a multi-talented entertainer whose career encompasses television, film, stand-up comedy and late-night television. For two seasons, Lopez hosted Lopez Tonight, a late-night television talk show on TBS, which represented Lopez’s return to series television after co-creating, writing, producing and starring in Warner Bros. Television’s groundbreaking hit sitcom George Lopez, which ran for six seasons on ABC.
Lopez recently voiced the character Rafael in the animated blockbuster, Rio, along with Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg, and “Grouchy Smurf” in The Smurfs. The most recent video from 2011’s Neighborhoods, Blink-182’s first new album in eight years which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, is for the hit single “After Midnight.” Says singer bassist Mark Hoppus of the video: “We wanted something that was a little troubled because the song is a troubled love song. Isaac (Rentz, the director) came up with this idea of a guy and a girl trapped inside of an insane asylum. They find one another, they escape themselves for the evening and they have a night of reckless romance before they get put back into their cells.”

The Beach Boys have recorded new songs for the as-yet-untitled album to be released in 2012. It will be the first to feature all of the band’s surviving original members in decades and is being produced by Brian Wilson and executive produced by Mike Love.
The Beach Boys and Capitol/EMI have also teamed up for a 50th Anniversary campaign spotlighting the band’s entire catalog, with several new commemorative releases planned for 2012, including a new hits collection and a career-spanning box set.
