Incubus was formed in 1991 by vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger and drummer Jose Pasillas while enrolled in high school. Incubus has received both critical acclaim and commercial success, reaching multi-platinum sales, as well as releasing several highly successful singles. The band started branching out creatively and earned mainstream recognition with the release of their 1999 album Make Yourself. In 2001, Incubus became even more successful with the single “Drive” and their follow-up album Morning View. Their studio album, Light Grenades, debuted at #1 in 2006 and has received Gold certification in the U.S.
Incubus released their first greatest hits album Monuments and Melodies in June 2009, accompanied by a tour of the United States, Japan and Canada. The band recently completed a seventh studio album, If Not Now, When? which is due for release on July 12, 2011.

June 15th performance will be rescheduled to June 16th
Michael Bublé is postponing his Mohegan Sun performance on Wednesday, June 15th to Thursday, June 16th to accommodate all “Die-Hard” hockey fans in the Northeast, so they can view game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. All tickets for the Wednesday night show will be honored for the Thursday night, June 16th performance at 7:30pm.
At the chance you cannot attend the concert on this new date, refunds will be available at the point of purchase until 7:30pm on June 15th. Adkins’ first album, the platinum Dreamin’ Out Loud, produced three Top 3 hits, including his first #1, (This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing.” More than twenty of his singles would hit the Top 20 and give him the platform from which everything else would follow.
His videos have been fan-voted “Top Video of the Year” three times on GAC, and “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” was voted #2 “Video of the Decade” by CMT. Connecticut celebrities compete to benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving at Mohegan Sun September 30th
Mohegan Sun is proud to present the third annual ‘MADD About Dancing’ competition in The Cabaret Theatre on Friday, September 30th. Ten Connecticut celebrities will lace up their dancing shoes and hit the floor to help raise awareness and funds for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). This is the third year Mohegan Sun is teaming up with WCTY and Arthur Murray Dance Studio to host a night filled with fun, entertainment and competition. The evening also includes a special vocal performance by Country artist and former Dancing with the Stars competitor, Chuck Wicks.
Doors to The Cabaret Theatre will open at 7:00pm where guests will have the opportunity to enjoy hand-passed hors d’oeuvres and participate in a silent auction featuring Steiner Sports memorabilia among other items before the celebrities take the stage at 8:00pm with their professional dance partners.
The group of celebrities includes: Sonia Baghdady, Evening Anchor for WTNH; Fox Connecticut Meteorologist, Rachel Frank; Star of Johnny Rockets’ episode of Undercover Boss, Janice Garcia; Vice President of Connecticut College, Ulysses Hammond; WCTY’s on-air personality Marty Hausberger; WFSB New London Bureau Chief, Kevin Hogan; Fox Connecticut on-air personality, Jennifer Lahmers; Vice President of Libero Jewelers, Michael Libero, Jr.; WTNH Meteorologist, Gil Simmons; and Miss Connecticut 2011.
For the competition, each celebrity will be paired with a professional dance partner from Arthur Murray Dance Studios and will perform two short routines. Female celebrities will perform the Waltz and Cha-Cha, while male celebrities will try their hand at the Foxtrot and Rumba. Professional dance expos and a special performance by Chuck Wicks will round out the event. Wicks, who is playing in Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den the night before, will perform a few of his hit songs in The Cabaret Theatre for guests.
Tickets to “MADD About Dancing” are $50.00 per person and benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving. They go on sale to the public on Friday, June 3rd and are available through ticketmaster.com or at the Mohegan Sun Box Office.

ABOUT KYM: Dancing with the Stars fans got their first glimpse of Kym Johnson when paired with Jerry Springer as they reached a 5th place finish in season 3. She finished even higher the very next season at 2nd place with partner Joey Fatone and in season 9 she reached the top spot with Donny Osmond as they took home the Mirror Ball Trophy. Johnson is the only professional dancer to hold the title of two Mirror Ball Trophies, both in her homeland of Australia and USA. Her success on the popular reality show is no fluke as Johnson began ballroom dancing at age 13. Johnson made her Broadway debut in “Burn The Floor” in 2009, a dream come true for her. Johnson was just named the season 12 winner with partner and Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Hines Ward.
ABOUT DMITRY:
Dmitry has established himself as one of the most recognized Ballroom Dancers and Choreographers in the United States and around the world. He is one of the star Professionals on Dancing With The Stars, an Emmy Nominated Choreographer for his work on So You Think You Can Dance and one of America’s favorite dancers. Dmitry’s dancing career began in the Ballroom at the age of 12 in his hometown of Rostov-on-Don in Russia. After moving to the United States in 1999, he studied in both America and United Kingdom and began competing and winning many world famous ballroom completions around the globe representing the United States. Upcoming acts were recognized with prestigious awards on May 22nd
Mohegan Sun continues to provide the hottest acts in the recording industry and they were on display during the 2011 Billboard Music Awards on May 22nd.
Upcoming artists who took home awards Sunday night were Cee Lo Green, Rihanna and Katy Perry. Cee Lo Green was awarded the “Viral Innovator” Award and Rihanna won “Top Radio Songs Artist of the Year” and “Top Female Artist of the Year.” Cee Lo Green and Rihanna bring their hit summer tour to Mohegan Sun Arena on July 22nd. Katy Perry won “Top Hot 100 Artist of the Year” and “Top Digital Songs Artist of the Year,” respectively. Perry will perform on June 25th in Mohegan Sun Arena.
