UNCASVILLE, CT (September 23, 2019) – America’s favorite dance show is going back on tour this winter with ‘Dancing with the Stars – Live Tour 2020.’ The longest tour to date will be dancing through Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, January 11th and Sunday, January 12th at 7:30pm. The all-new production will feature fan-favorite professional dancers wowing audiences with every type of dance style as seen on ABC’s hit show Dancing with the Stars.

The show continues its legacy of performing showstopping routines alongside new numbers choreographed just for the live show ranging from the time-honored dances of the Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Salsa, Tango – and everything in between. In the longest and most expansive North American tour to date, audiences will have the opportunity to experience the excitement, glamour and glitz they see in the ballroom every Monday night live in their hometowns.

Touted as ‘the comedian’s comedian” by People, Maniscalco finds himself “at the vanguard of a live comedy revolution” according to Pollstar. And the man NBC Nightly News called “comedy’s new superstar” is showing no signs of slowing down.
“There’s nothing like going to a live show and seeing it in real life,” Maniscalco says in a recent interview with Forbes, who named him as one of the Top 10 highest-grossing stand-up comedians in the world in 2019. “Is there a comedy bubble that’s going to pop soon? Yet to be seen, but as I’ve been in this business, it has gotten progressively better each year and I don’t see it slowing down.”
Not only has the star power of Maniscalco rocketed upward in the past few years thanks to shows described by Billboard as “devastatingly full force comedy,” but also due to his high energy Netflix Original special, Stay Hungry. The special, which was taped over a span of five sold-out shows at the legendary Radio City Music Hall, had Maniscalco playing for a total of 28,312 long-time fans and early believers in his unique comedic voice.

5th annual event benefiting veterans and active duty military
to take place in the Earth Expo & Convention Center
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 23, 2019) – Vets Rock, a free event where Mohegan Sun and the community come together to celebrate active duty military and veterans with a day of valuable programs and resources, returns Friday, November 1st. Special services featured in the Earth Expo & Convention Center include a career fair presented by Hiring Our Heroes, over 50 veteran service organizations and Save-A-Suit presented by Bozzuto’s.
Opening Ceremony
Vets Rock 2019 will begin with an opening ceremony hosted by Gil Simmons of WTNH in The Shops concourse at 10:00am. The opening ceremony includes a salute to veterans and active duty military personnel during the National Anthem and a performance by the Voices of the Sun choir.
Vets Rock Expo
From 10:00am – 6:00pm, guests are invited to partake in the free Vets Rock Expo in the Earth Expo & Convention Center. The expo features over 50 veteran services organizations and a career fair presented by Hiring Our Heroes. Save-A-Suit, presented by Bozzuto’s, will also be on-hand, outfitting up to 150 veterans with professional attire. Pre-registration is required to participate in Save-A-Suit.

UNCASVILLE, CT (September 16, 2019) – Three-time Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum selling artist, Pentatonix, announced the release of a new holiday album, The Best Of Pentatonix Christmas. The best-of album will feature four new songs, in addition to the quintet’s biggest and best-selling songs and collaborations from their past four holiday albums. The inaugural list recognizes America’s most influential and innovative leaders in the entertainment industry
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 10, 2019) – Senior Vice President of Sports & Entertainment for Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE), Tom Cantone, has been recognized in VenuesNow’s 2019 inaugural All-Stars list. This honor recognizes the 50 top executives who have made their mark in key areas of the entertainment industry and will continue to shape it in the coming years. It also celebrates venues and projects that have caught the industry’s attention in the last year, all as determined by VenuesNow’s editorial team. The criteria used by VenuesNow involves innovation, financial and critical success, leadership in the industry and a demonstrated commitment to excellence.
The 50 inaugural All-Stars are introduced in the magazine’s September issue and recognized at an exclusive reception that took place last evening in New York City. The Tenderloins is a New York-based comedy troupe, whose four members – Joe Gatto, James Murray, Brian Quinn and Sal Vulcano – are the creators, executive producers, and stars of truTV’s hit series, Impractical Jokers. Fear Inoculum’s release caps off over a decade of speculation and anticipation, with confirmation of the release arriving in May as the band flashed “August 30th” from the stage as they performed two new songs: “Descending” and “Invincible.”
As August arrived, TOOL released their back catalog via digital service providers, seeing Opiate, Undertow, Ænima, Lateralus and 10,000 Days rack up in excess of 20 million streams in the subsequent 48 hours and occupy the top five spots on iTunes’ Top 10 Album Charts. 23 years after its initial release, Ænima re-entered Billboard’s Top 200, arriving at #10, with Lateralus (#16), 10,000 Days (#18) and Undertow (#19) landing in the Top 20. TOOL’s debut release, 1992’s Opiate EP, made its Billboard chart premiere, arrived at #59. The band also broke records that week: taking four of the top five spots on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart (the first act to achieve that feat upon digital release) and claiming 15 (of 25) spots on Billboard’s Rock Digital Song Sales chart.
The title track arrived as details surrounding the collection surfaced, including a limited-edition CD version of Fear Inoculum.
