At the age of 92, Tony Bennett is not slowing down and his last recording, “Tony Bennett Celebrates 90” just won a Grammy Award for his son Dae Bennett who produced the album. This past November, the Library Of Congress presented Bennett with the “Gershwin Prize” marking the first time that an interpretive singer has been honored. UNCASVILLE, CT (August 9, 2018) – Fans can watch all the fun, excitement and competitiveness that ensues when NBA and NFL star players and legends compete from Mohegan Sun Golf Club in the first-ever State Farm® Showdown Hosted by Aaron Rodgers & Chris Paul, set to air Friday, August 10th, at 8:00pm ET on TNT. The show will be televised on TNT immediately following the network’s live coverage of the 100th PGA Championship from St. Louis.
Rodgers and Paul lead their respective teams in the first-of-its-kind, NFL vs. NBA charity golf tournament that showcases their skills on the course. In addition to the team-centric, head-to-head competition, the athlete’s participated in a number of “skills challenges.” Top moments from the show – which features golf commentary from Ernie Johnson and Ian Baker-Finch along with comedian James Davis and Amanda Balionis as course reporters – include:
