UNCASVILLE, CT (February 4, 2019) – Critically acclaimed, world-renowned Comedy troupe, and stars of truTV’s hit series Impractical Jokers, The Tenderloins have announced new 2019 dates for their smash U.S./U.K. tour, “The Cranjis McBasketball World Comedy Tour – Starring The Tenderloins.” The new dates, kick off at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, June 7th and Saturday, June 8th at 8:00pm., come on the heels of multiple sold-out shows since the tour’s summer of 2018 inception, and will feature new material and hi-jinx for audiences across the globe.

In addition to the Cranjis live performances, The Tenderloins have an action-packed 2019 planned. They recently wrapped shooting their Impractical Jokers Movie directed by Chris Henchy and produced by Funny or Die. Beginning February 6th, the group will be setting sail with Sixthman on their third annual sold-out Impractical Jokers Cruise from Tampa to the Bahamas. Later in the year, The Tenderloins are starring in TBS’ The Misery Index, a brand-new game show co-starring Jameela Jamil (from NBC’s The Good Place). All the while, truTV will be airing Season 8 of Impractical Jokers, with all 26 brand-new episodes airing within the coming months.

2019: The Year of the Pig
UNCASVILLE, CT (January 30, 2019) – Mohegan Sun is getting ready to celebrate the Year of the Pig this February. Following the tradition, Mohegan Sun is ringing in the Lunar New Year with a variety of events including A-Lin inside Mohegan Sun Arena, a traditional Chinese cultural arts demonstration and Lion Dance, the Money God, Red Envelope giveaways, special menu items at Sunrise Square and more!
The celebrations begin with a performance in Mohegan Sun Arena by A-Lin from Taiwan. The show will take place at 1:00am on Sunday, February 3rd and tickets are VIP $188.00, $148.00, $118.00, $98.00 and $68.00 and are on sale now.
Beginning Tuesday, February 5th, Red Envelopes will be distributed to Momentum members with valid ID for Asian bus line runs. The giveaway starts the first day of the Lunar New Year and lasts through Monday, February 11th. During this period, guests who ride the Asian buses can receive a Red Envelope with cash varying from $5.00 to $100.00 inside. The Money God will also visit The Shops concourse from Noon to 2:00pm on Sunday, February 10th for another Red Envelope giveaway and photo opportunity. Miss NY Chinese Pageant 2018 winners will be present to greet guests. There will also be Chinese arts and crafts demonstrations such as calligraphy and paper-cutting.
Also on Sunday, February 10th, don’t miss the traditional Lion Dance that will tour through the Mohegan Sun property. The Lion Dance has long symbolized the exorcising of evil spirits and summoning luck and fortune. The Eastern Connecticut Conference gets its own “Run to the Sun” when the ECC Division title games come to Mohegan Sun; Tickets on-sale January 28th
UNCASVILLE, CT (January 9, 2019) – The high school basketball season in Eastern Connecticut is shaping up to produce another thrilling tournament season and along with the CIAC State Finals that arrive in mid-March, Mohegan Sun Arena will be hosting the Eastern Connecticut Conference High School Basketball Championship Games for the first time, on February 26th. The ECC is home to standout athlete’s, Dev Ostrowski of East Lyme, JJ Brennan of Waterford, Chase Anderson of Bacon Academy, Ken Turner of Ledyard & Max Lee of St. Bernard and many more, all looking to lead their teams to the conference title and beyond.

The ECC featured three divisions last year, from which two conference tournaments took place, with Waterford & St. Bernard’s taking home titles. The ECC was restructured to four total divisions for the 2018-2019 season, and tournament play will now consist of all Division I & II schools battling it out for the title, with the same taking place for Division III & IV. The ECC has a storied athletic history, and high school basketball is certainly a notable category. UNCASVILLE, CT (December 19, 2018) – One of the biggest Latin stars in recent memory, Bad Bunny, has announced his North American tour. Kicking off spring 2019, the Grammy – nominated rapper – songwriter comes to Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, April 7th at 7:00pm.
Tickets are $141.00, $101.00, $81.00 and $51.00 and go on sale Friday, December 21st at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Bad Bunny, originally from Puerto Rico, is most recognized for his explosive and infectious Trap songs. Dining specials & discounts will be offered at many of the top restaurants across Mohegan Sun, and along with that, diners will be able to learn tips and tricks from culinary masters during live cooking demonstrations in The Shops at Mohegan Sun by Sun Wine & Food Fest chefs Jason Santos and Michele Ragussis!

Jason Santos, celebrity chef, owner, and Executive Chef at Boston’s Abby Lane, Citrus & Salt, and Buttermilk & Bourbon restaurants, will help kick off Restaurant Week by taking over The Shops at Mohegan Sun on Sunday, January 20th at Noon.
Michele Ragussis, a seasoned New England chef who has been featured on shows like Chopped, Food Network Star, Beat Bobby Flay and more, will wrap up Restaurant Week when she takes over The Shops at Mohegan Sun on Thursday, January 24th at 6:00pm.

Street taco entrée options include Adobo pork, roasted duck, chicken, Baja fish, grilled shrimp, or barbacoa beef. All street taco entrées are served with rice and beans.

The dinner special for two is $29.95 and includes one buffalo pretzel to share, the choice of chicken fajitas or BBQ pulled pork bacon mac & cheese, and a cookie pizza for dessert.
Come to Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House for delicious, slow roasted 12 oz. prime rib au jus, served with mashed potatoes, daily vegetables and for $20.00. Make sure to get there early for one of the most popular items while supplies last!
Visit Michael Jordan’s Steak House for a delicious meal for $49.00. The first course is a choice of a classic Caesar with shaved parmesan and garlic croutons, or king crab and lobster bisque with micro celery. The main course is the choice of organic black pearl salmon in a peperonata broth (no clams), or basil brined chicken with smoked fingerling hash and parmesan velouté.
Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe is serving honey chipotle fried chicken, mac & cheese, BBQ rubbed jojo’s, and coleslaw, with a buttermilk biscuit and house-made gravy for $23.00.
