UNCASVILLE, CT (December 10, 2019) – ‘Tis the season at Mohegan Sun, and celebrations are taking place for Christmas and New Years with a variety of holiday dining and retail specials across property. Guests can dine and unwind with favorites like Hash House A Go Go, Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain, Todd English’s Tuscany, and more!
Christmas at The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House includes a traditional ham dinner featuring honey baked ham covered in house-made golden raisin and tomato chutney, served with a side of the daily vegetable, mashed potatoes and stuffing for $18. This dinner is available on Christmas Day, with doors opening at 2:00pm.
Hash House A Go Go is bringing the holiday cheer with some festive dining specials!
- Guests who try the peppermint bark pancake will get a famous Hash House A Go Go pancake with crushed candy canes cooked inside, topped with whipped cream and a side of hot fudge sauce for $10.99.
- The cream cheese stuffed French toast for $14.99 has cream cheese sandwiched between two pieces of milk bread and dipped in banana cream batter, grilled to perfection and topped with blueberries and blackberries. This special is also available in the tractor option – add two eggs any style with the choice of bacon, sausage links, turkey sausage patties or potatoes for an addition fee.
- Those looking for a savory option can devour the house-cooked Prime Rib served with mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, au jus and a horseradish cream for $24.99.
- The shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta for $19.99 includes sautéed shrimp atop a bed of angel hair pasta, tomatoes, green onions and garlic tossed in a lemon butter wine sauce.
- For dessert, enjoy the gingerbread bread pudding for $9.99. This holiday twist on Hash House A Go Go’s famous bread pudding is mixed with gingerbread spices and served alongside vanilla bean ice cream topped with a house-made caramel sauce.
Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain is serving up a special holiday three-course meal for $150. First course is a classic Bar Americain Caesar salad. The main course is surf and turf – twin 6 oz. filet mignons with steamed lobster, goat cheese mashed potatoes and California flat leaf spinach (guests can substitute the steamed lobster for hot or cold crab legs for an additional $25). Dessert is chocolate cream pie, and guests can take dinner to the next level with a 375 ml. bottle of champagne for $50. Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain is open on Christmas Day from 5:00pm – 9:00pm, and from 4:30pm – 11:00pm on New Year’s Eve. OpenTable reservations are available.
The Christmas special at Todd English’s Tuscany features braised veal osso bucco and risotto alla Milanese for $60. Christmas hours are from 5:00pm – 9:00pm. On New Year’s Eve, guests can enjoy an 18 oz. bone-in ribeye, butter poached Alaskan king crab, EVOO silk potatoes, petit asparagus and a Béarnaise sauce for $75. New Year’s Eve hours are from 4:30pm – 11:00pm. Todd English’s Tuscany is offering a New Year’s Day Champagne Brunch with a special limited menu instead of lunch service on Wednesday, January 1st from 10:00am – 2:00pm for $50 per person. New Year’s Eve specials at Jasper White’s Summer Shack include The Baller – 1 lb. Alaskan king crab legs, 1 lb. steamed lobster, eight oysters, eight littlenecks, four cocktail shrimp, two oyster tuna sashimi and a bottle of Chloe Prosecco, or The Lobster Surf and Turf – grilled lobster tail and filet mignon with bordelaise sauce, mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables.
Guests who spend New Year’s Eve with Sushi Koya can enjoy specials like the Miso Toro – seared toro with steamed asparagus, mango salsa and miso sauce, or the Tiger’s Eye – smoked salmon and stuffed squid with ponzu sauce.

Various restaurants across property are celebrating Mom with some delicious dining specials!
At Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House featured items include a warm spinach and artichoke dip served with house-fried tortilla chips and a summer salad, complete with a bed of mixed greens topped with grilled chicken breast, Granny Smith apples, fresh strawberries and goat cheese and served with balsamic vinaigrette. The entrée is pan-seared scallop primavera – fresh made zucchini and squash noodles tossed with pancetta and sautéed vegetables topped with pan-seared scallops. Moms get a free dessert with the purchase of an entrée.
Treat Mom to a three-course meal at Jasper White’s Summer Shack for $40.00. For an appetizer, choose between cocktail shrimp, a cup of chowder, or a mixed greens salad. The entrée is a choice between shack shrimp scampi with lemon sauce, spinach, and tomatoes, grilled salmon with a cool cucumber sauce, brown rice and asparagus, or aged top sirloin with garlic butter, home-fried potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. Dessert is a house-made daily selection. Add a glass of red or white wine for $5.00.
Over at Hash House A Go Go, celebrate with selections from the menu or try food and drink specials only a mother could love. Elle’s famous crab cakes and eggs has two all blue crab cakes topped with chili mayo, served with mashed potatoes, sliced tomato, a fresh buttermilk biscuit, and a choice of eggs for $18.99. Other specials include Hash House A Go Go’s famous blueberry pancake topped with sweet lemon curd, powdered sugar and whipped cream for $9.99 and House Roasted Chicken Benedict with sliced mushrooms, served on top of a bed of mashed potatoes, a split biscuit, spinach, sliced tomato and topped with basted eggs and a basil pesto cream for $15.99. The drink special for Mother’s Day is Johnny’s famous BLT Mary with stuffed green olives, Blue Lake green beans, fresh horseradish, leaf lettuce, a tomato slice, smoked bacon, a mayo packet and toast, served in a 24-ounce souvenir glass for “Moms only” for the special price of $13.99. Irish-Inspired Specials & Celebrations to Take Place Across Property
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 5, 2019) – The luck of the Irish is flowing through Mohegan Sun for St. Patrick’s Day. On Sunday, March 17th, guests can partake in delicious dining specials, enjoy live entertainment, or pick up a limited edition cocotte from Le Creuset. Guests can also stop by Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House for exciting giveaways throughout the day.
Tom’s Urban is celebrating all March long with St. Madness! Fans of Division I College Basketball can cheer on their bracket picks across 23 hi-definition flat screens and try their luck with Tom’s Two-Handed Stein Hoist, an event that will separate the true fans from the pretenders. Participants of the Two-Handed Stein Hoist will be challenged to see who can hold a 40 oz. glass of their favorite beer airborne the longest. All participants can purchase a 40 oz. glass of Stella Artois for $14.50 and have the glass topped off before the competition begins. The winner gets bragging rights, along with a $50 gift card to use towards a future visit. Guests interested in Tom’s Two-Handed Stein Hoist will have three chances to test their strength: Friday, March 29th, Sunday, March 31st, and Saturday, April 6th.
In addition to the regular menu, guests at Tom’s Urban will be offered a special St. Madness limited menu during the month of March, including:

Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House knows how to go all out for St. Patrick’s Day. Doors open on Sunday, March 17th at 11:30am, and the first 250 people to arrive receive a special gift bag with an engraved Guinness glass and other commemorative items. Those lucky 250 people are automatically part of the Golden Ticket Giveaway – 20 Guinness golden tickets are hidden in the gift bags and whoever finds a ticket wins another prize! Throughout the day, Lansdowne will offer additional giveaways and food & beverage specials.
The regular Lansdowne menu is available all day and includes these special, Irish-inspired dishes:
- Lansdowne loaded skins: golden fried potato skins filled with corned beef and Swiss cheese, topped with house-made coleslaw and served with Russian dressing
- Corned beef and cabbage dinner: slow roasted corned beef brisket, carrots, Yukon potatoes, and cabbage served in a unique house-made brine with mustard and Irish butter on the side
- Shepherd’s pie: classic preparation made with ground lamb and beef, carrots, onions, and herbs, topped with mashed potatoes and baked until golden brown; served with Irish soda bread and butter
Entertainment will be provided by Clan O’ Cleary from Noon – 3:00pm and again from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Clan O’Cleary is a five-piece band known throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island for playing traditional Irish music and original songs written by members of the group. The unique instrumentation arranged by the band provides a fuller sound to the audience. This is done by incorporating at least 14 instruments associated with Irish music, and playing multiple instruments in addition to singing.
Live entertainment during St. Patrick’s Day will also be provided by The Wolf Den and Comix Roadhouse. Sean McConnell brings southern charm to The Wolf Den starting at 7:00pm. Sean McConnell’s career started with a grassroots following and has quickly attracted the attention of Country icons like Tim MGraw, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, and more. McConnell’s sound – a warm tenor painting vivid stories over acoustic guitar often cushioned by keys or other strings – has prompted a diverse range of music scenes to warmly claim Sean as one of their own.
St. Patrick’s Day is also Silly Sunday over at the newly renovated Comix Roadhouse, and comedian Pat Oates is bringing the laughs with a show at 8:00pm. Pat is the 2015 winner of Comix Roadhouse’s Last Comix Standing contest, a writer for Laugh Staff and the host of the Pat Oates Is Sad podcast. His crowd work skills are regarded by many of his peers as second to none. Guests who are looking for an earlier show can enjoy house hypnotist Jim Spinnato at 5:00pm. Spinnato’s peformances are a combination of magic, illusion, and comedy; with lots of audience participation.
Seasons Buffet has incorporated a special menu for St. Patrick’s Day. On March 17th, guests can celebrate with corned beef, Irish soda bread, Guinness Stout Irish stew, house-made boxty, shepherd’s pie, steamed cabbage, colcannon, potato salad, cole slaw, macaroni salad, Irish potato salad, health slaw, parsley boiled potatoes, Dubliner coddle, and grilled beef sausage.
On St. Patrick’s Day, various restaurants across property are offering their take on corned beef and cabbage – an Irish favorite. Todd English’s Tuscany is offering house-made Wagyu corned beef, salt cured potatoes, Guinness glazed carrots, and cabbage béchamel for $34.00. Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe has corned beef and cabbage served with potatoes, carrots, and grain mustard for $23.00. Pasta Vita is serving corned beef and cabbage dinner for two for $18.95. At Jasper White’s Summer Shack enjoy corned beef and potato croquettes with a pint of green beer for $10.00.

Starting Thanksgiving Day at 11:30am, Landsdowne Irish Pub & Music House has crafted a special that includes house brined and slow roasted turkey breast served with gravy, mashed potatoessage stuffing, a root vegetable blend, and cranberry sauce for $20.00. For reservations after 5:00pm, please call 860.862.7005. Guests can also enjoy karaoke starting at 9:00pm.
Michael Jordan’s Steak House will offer a ginger-brined duck breast & crispy Sous Vide duck leg served with sweet potato puree, roasted heirloom carrots, sourdough pecan stuffing, drunken kumquat marmalade, and a duck demi-glace for $45.00. For dessert, pumpkin crème brûlée, and butter pecan cookies for $14.00.
Michael Jordan’s 23.sportscafe will also have a Thanksgiving Day meal for $29.00. Guests can enjoy slow roasted turkey, either white meat or dark meat, sage veloute, Yukon mashed potatoes, traditional bread stuffing and roasted green beans, and a traditional pumpkin pie dessert for an additional $7.00.
Todd’s English Tuscany is preparing a 3-course meal for $40.00. First is a wood-roasted pear and gorgonzola salad topped with candied walnuts, arugula, a pomegranate reduction, and balsamic vinaigrette. The main course is sage brined natural turkey, sausage potato stuffing, roasted root vegetables, sweet potatoes topped with a pecan crumble, bacon Dijon brussel petals, Grappa cranberry sauce, and giblet gravy. From 1:00pm to 8:00pm, Bar Americain is presenting a $45.00 three-course feast. First is a gala apple salad with goat cheese, walnuts and a pomegranate vinaigrette. The main course is maple-glazed roasted turkey served with cornbread, wild mushroom stuffing, cranberry-fig chutney, sage gravy, and creamed kale. For dessert, spiced apple caramel crêpes.
At Seasons Buffet, lunch will feature carved slow roasted turkey, honey-mustard glazed ham, and a slow roasted steamship of beef. Dinner will feature carved slow roasted turkey, shallot crusted roast Prime rib, and honey glazed ham.
