UNCASVILLE, CT (August 21, 2023) – Gearing up for what promises to be an unforgettable holiday season, Pentatonix’s anxiously awaited 2023 North American Christmas tour, Pentatonix The Most Wonderful Tour Of The Year and a new holiday greatest hits album, The Greatest Christmas Hits make their way to Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, December 7th at 7:00pm.
Tickets to see the three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning and Daytime EMMY® Award-nominated vocal quintet are $299.50, $149.50, $99.50 $79.50 or $25.00 and go on sale Friday, August 25th at 10:00am via ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, August 26th, subject to availability.
In tandem with the tour, Pentatonix will unveil their 12th overall full-length and seventh holiday album, The Greatest Christmas Hits, this fall. The album features 23 of the band’s top holiday songs and eight brand new, never-before-heard tracks – including one holiday original!
Last year, the quintet completed their biggest and most successful Christmas arena tour thus far. Performing to the largest crowds they’ve ever headlined for, it sold out multiple dates across the country. Now, they pick up where they left off with Pentatonix The Most Wonderful Tour Of The Year.

The Beach Boys: Holiday Harmonies also takes center stage this New Year’s Eve at Mohegan Sun. Fans can close out the year right with Mike Love and The Beach Boys as they celebrate the season with a mix of holiday classics from the band’s Christmas album and more. Join the iconic band for a show to remember at 8:00pm on December 31st at Mohegan Sun Arena. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
The famous Boogie Wonder Band also returns to the Wolf Den for another NYE performance, taking fans back in time to the 70s & 80s. This 10-piece band will play Funk grooves and Disco-strutting jams in the Wolf Den, for two free shows at 8:00pm and 11:00pm on Friday, December 31st. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis and guests may line up no sooner than three hours before the show. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to enter the Wolf Den.
Now through January 9th, Mohegan Sun guests can travel through the Free Winter Wonderland & Santa’s Workshop Escape Room, located in The Shops at Mohegan Sun across from Todd English’s Tuscany. Mohegan Sun Arena and the Wolf Den featuring multiple holiday concerts throughout November and December
For those who love to blast holiday music as soon as dinner ends on Thanksgiving up until the clock strikes Midnight on New Year’s Eve, live music at Mohegan Sun is the perfect way to celebrate the season.
There’s something magical about taking in a holiday show with family and friends during the most wonderful time of year. Mohegan Sun Arena is hosting six holiday shows throughout November and December. Tickets are available via ticketmaster.com and at the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability.
Upcoming holiday shows at Mohegan Sun Arena:
- Straight No Chaser – Straight No Chaser ushered in the modern A Cappella craze with their breakthrough version of “The 12 Days of Christmas” 12 years ago. The group’s return to in-person touring features tracks from its latest album, Social Christmasing, as well as a mix of brand-new arrangements and fan favorites. Straight No Chaser opens the holiday season at 8:00pm on Friday, November 26th at Mohegan Sun Arena.
- Trans-Siberian Orchestra – Join the famous Progressive Rock band as they celebrate the 25th anniversary of their iconic album Christmas Eve & Other Stories. TSO takes the stage for two shows at 3:00pm and 8:00pm on Sunday, November 28th.
- Pentatonix: The Evergreen Christmas Tour – The multi-platinum and Grammy Award winning A Cappella group is bringing the holiday spirit to Mohegan Sun Arena as they celebrate the quintet’s sixth holiday themed album, Evergreen. The Marine Corps League will be on-site outside Mohegan Sun Arena prior to the concert collecting new, unwrapped toys or monetary donations for the Toys for Tots organization. Get into the spirit early with Pentatonix at 8:00pm on Saturday, December 4th.
- A Marie Osmond Symphonic Christmas with special guests David Osmond and Daniel Emmet – Marie Osmond has spent five iconic decades in the entertainment business performing as a successful singer, television performer and talk show host, dancer, actor, author, entrepreneur and public speaker. She comes to Mohegan Sun for one night at 8:00pm on Wednesday, December 8th, to preview her upcoming symphonic album, Unexpected, which covers a multitude of genres like Opera, Broadway, and timeless classics, and drops just two days later on December 10th.
- Goose: Goosemas 2021 –Connecticut’s own Goose, based in Norwalk, CT, is the culmination of a rich history between friends of differing ages and experiences from the same small town in Connecticut, drawn together through a deep love of music and storytelling. Goosemas is the band’s eighth annual edition of its holiday tradition, which started as a basement party in a Norwalk music studio. Now, the jam band is set to headline its largest show to date. Don’t miss Goose’s first arena performance at 8:00pm on Saturday, December 18th.
- The Beach Boys: Holiday Harmonies (New Year’s Eve) – Close out the year with Mike Love and The Beach Boys as they celebrate the season with a mix of holiday classics from the band’s Christmas album, as well as songs from The Beach Boys’ co-founder and lead singer Mike Love’s holiday album, Reason for the Season. - Street Corner Symphony Christmas – Street Corner Symphony, a contemporary A Cappella group, first made their mark on NBC’s all-vocal competition, The Sing-Off, and will be adding some holiday flair to their show. Performing in the Wolf Den at 8:00pm on Thursday, December 16th.
- Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s Wild & Swingin’ Holiday Party – Big Bad Voodoo Daddy continues its decades long mission to celebrate and revitalize Jazz and Swing music, and is celebrating the season with Christmas favorites and originals. Performing in the Wolf Den at 8:00pm on Friday, December 17th.
- The Cartells – One of the most popular bands in Connecticut continues its tradition of taking over the Wolf Den on Christmas Eve and Christmas night for a spectacular holiday show. Performing in the Wolf Den at 8:00pm on Thursday, December 24th and Friday, December 25th.
- Boogie Wonder Band (New Year’s Eve) – End 2021 by traveling back in time to the ‘70s with the Boogie Wonder Band, a 10-piece band with funk-a-licious grooves and disco-strutting jams. Performing in the Wolf Den at 8:00pm on Friday, December 31st.
Guests may line up no sooner than three hours before a show at the Wolf Den. IN DETAIL: After receiving top international hospitality awards in 2019, Mohegan Sun launches season four of the hit series, “Back of House” tonight at 8:00pm on BackofHouse.tv. Season four follows the professional lives of 10 Mohegan Sun employees, providing viewers with an in-depth glimpse at the world of resort hospitality and operations. This season is partially filmed pre-pandemic, and goes behind the scenes to uncover the challenges and rewards of hosting New Year’s Eve 2020, as well as holiday galas and the building of a towering gingerbread house. After the onset of COVID-19, the series shows the diligent steps and hard work taken by leadership and team members to close and then safely reopen one of the largest integrated entertainment resorts in the United States after its three-month closure due to the pandemic.
