BALTIC, CT (April 15, 2021) –This morning, Mohegan Sun Golf Club (MSGC,) located at 7 Dows Ln, Baltic, CT, officially opened for the season to all resort and public play. In addition to enjoying one of the most scenic and impressive courses New England has to offer, golfers can enjoy the Pautipaug Pub, a spacious and well-appointed clubhouse, a well-stocked and revamped pro shop, a fitness room, the “Triple Tee Snack Bar” that greets players half-way through their round, top-notch practice areas, a training facility and a driving range. Led by PGA Master Pro and VP & General Manager, Philip Krick Jr., MSGC kicks off the 2021 season with a public rate of $100 Monday through Thursday ($75 after 2:00pm.) Weekend rates before 2:00pm are priced at $125.00, ($100 after 2:00pm). MSGC does offer military discounts and guests staying at Mohegan Sun receive reduced rates as well. Golf carts are included in all of the above. Mohegan Sun’s Momentum members are also provided exclusive opportunities. MSGC is also home to a one-of-a-kind Golf Academy where guests can improve their techniques while taking advantage of a comprehensive training facility equipped with the latest in video and shot tracking technologies. A fun-filled, all ages night-time golf event has kicked-off; Tickets are $10.00 and Children 13 and under are free
The 18-Hole Championship Golf Course at Mohegan Sun Golf Club 
(MSGC), which is one of Golfweek’s “Top 50 Casino Golf Courses,” and open to the public, is excited to announce the all new Cosmic Golf experience, where guests can swing under the stars. Every Friday in July & August, from 7:00pm – Midnight, Mohegan Sun Golf Club will offer rounds of mini-golf with glow in the dark balls and the opportunity to sharpen swings under a lighted driving range featuring targets. Plenty of picnic-style food and beverages will be on offered as well as exciting chances to win prizes through various contests as part of this family event.
Tickets for Cosmic Golf at Mohegan Sun Golf Club can be purchased right at the course and are $10.00 per adult and children 13 or younger are free.

The All-Access Show Features Rodgers & Paul, NBA Legend Ray Allen, NFL Icons Larry Fitzgerald, Patrick Peterson & More Going Head-to-Head at Mohegan Sun Golf Club
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 9, 2018) – Fans can watch all the fun, excitement and competitiveness that ensues when NBA and NFL star players and legends compete from Mohegan Sun Golf Club in the first-ever State Farm® Showdown Hosted by Aaron Rodgers & Chris Paul, set to air Friday, August 10th, at 8:00pm ET on TNT. The show will be televised on TNT immediately following the network’s live coverage of the 100th PGA Championship from St. Louis.
Rodgers and Paul lead their respective teams in the first-of-its-kind, NFL vs. NBA charity golf tournament that showcases their skills on the course. In addition to the team-centric, head-to-head competition, the athlete’s participated in a number of “skills challenges.” Top moments from the show – which features golf commentary from Ernie Johnson and Ian Baker-Finch along with comedian James Davis and Amanda Balionis as course reporters – include:
- Rodgers and Paul sharing key “insights” into the drafting of their State Farm Showdown teams
- Competitors showcasing their accuracy by hitting golf balls at glass targets featuring their opponents’ likeness
- A cameo appearance from Charles Barkley

New names include Adam Thielen, Rodney Harrison, Michael Finley and more
UNCASVILLE, CT (June 18, 2018) – “The State Farm Showdown,” hosted by Aaron Rodgers and Chris Paul and presented by Turner Sports and CAA Sports, has added more celebrity athletes to the list of current and past NFL and NBA icons pitting against each other for the first-of-its-kind charity golf tournament set to take place at Mohegan Sun Golf Club June 27th & 28th.
An up-to-date confirmed list of players:
- Ray Allen: Former UConn legend and top three-point shooter in NBA history whose career spanned the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. Allen has two NBA championship rings (2008 & 2013)
- Larry Fitzgerald: Longtime Arizona Cardinals receiver, named to 11 Pro Bowls since being drafted third overall in the 2004 NFL Draft out of Pittsburgh. Caught two touchdown passes in Super Bowl XLIII
- Patrick Peterson: A teammate of Fitzgerald on the Cardinals, one of the NFL’s top cover corners. Named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first seven seasons since entering the league as a first round pick in 2011

There is no on-site public parking at Mohegan Sun Golf Club for this golf tournament. Guests that purchase tickets will be able to take a free shuttle from Mohegan Sun’s group hotel area at Sky Tower. The shuttle will leave from Mohegan Sun starting at 8:30am on June 27th and 9:30am on June 28th, and returning to Mohegan Sun from the golf course starting at 5:00pm. Per each paying adult, their ticket gives access to up to two people under 17 to join them on the shuttle and experience the golf tournament.
