IN DETAIL: Indulge in stimulating discussion with historical fiction authors Fiona Davis, the bestselling author of The Dollhouse, The Address, and her new book The Masterpiece; Melodie Winawer, author of The Scribe of Siena; James R. Benn, author of Solemn Graves, the latest in the Billy Boyle World War II series; and Marie Benedict, author of Carnegie’s Maid and The Other Einstein. The authors will be in conversation with Emily Fine and Chris Wolak of The Book Cougars. This exclusive Winning Authors event sponsored in part with Bank Square Books takes place in The Cabaret Theatre on September 27th, followed by a book signing in The Shops concourse. Bank Square Books will be on-site selling books, and tickets can be bought in advance through Eventbrite.

Historical Panelists will be signing copies of their books, which will be available for purchase through Bank Square Books in Mystic, CT, the night of the event. At the age of 92, Tony Bennett is not slowing down and his last recording, “Tony Bennett Celebrates 90” just won a Grammy Award for his son Dae Bennett who produced the album. This past November, the Library Of Congress presented Bennett with the “Gershwin Prize” marking the first time that an interpretive singer has been honored. The event was broadcast on PBS Nationally this January and featured tribute performances by Stevie Wonder, Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Gloria Estefan and many others. Tony’s latest album will be a collaborative project with long – time friend and colleague Diana Krall.
