Chef Demos
Jason Santos, celebrity chef, owner, and Executive Chef at Boston’s Abby Lane, Citrus & Salt, and Buttermilk & Bourbon restaurants, will help kick off Restaurant Week by taking over The Shops at Mohegan Sun on Sunday, January 20th at Noon.
Michele Ragussis, a seasoned New England chef who has been featured on shows like Chopped, Food Network Star, Beat Bobby Flay and more, will wrap up Restaurant Week when she takes over The Shops at Mohegan Sun on Thursday, January 24th at 6:00pm.

Street taco entrée options include Adobo pork, roasted duck, chicken, Baja fish, grilled shrimp, or barbacoa beef. All street taco entrées are served with rice and beans.

Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar, located on property near the Trading Cove lot, is offering lunch and dinner specials during Restaurant Week. For $16.95, enjoy a lunch for two special: house side salad, a choice of a BBQ pulled pork sandwich or a flatbread of your choice, and funnel cake fries for dessert. The dinner special for two is $29.95 and includes one buffalo pretzel to share, the choice of chicken fajitas or BBQ pulled pork bacon mac & cheese, and a cookie pizza for dessert.
Come to Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House for delicious, slow roasted 12 oz. prime rib au jus, served with mashed potatoes, daily vegetables and for $20.00. Make sure to get there early for one of the most popular items while supplies last!
Visit Michael Jordan’s Steak House for a delicious meal for $49.00. The first course is a choice of a classic Caesar with shaved parmesan and garlic croutons, or king crab and lobster bisque with micro celery. The main course is the choice of organic black pearl salmon in a peperonata broth (no clams), or basil brined chicken with smoked fingerling hash and parmesan velouté.
Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe is serving honey chipotle fried chicken, mac & cheese, BBQ rubbed jojo’s, and coleslaw, with a buttermilk biscuit and house-made gravy for $23.00.

Jasper White’s Sumer Shack has created a dinner special that includes 1 1/2 lb. crab stuffed lobster with corn on the cob and a glass of bubbles. Guests can also enjoy “The Baller”, a $180 raw bar special that includes eight oysters, eight littleneck clams, four cocktail shrimp, two oyster & tuna sashimi, 1lb. of steamed lobster, 1 lb. of steamed Alaskan king crab legs, and a bottle of Chloe Prosecco.

Starting Thanksgiving Day at 11:30am, Landsdowne Irish Pub & Music House has crafted a special that includes house brined and slow roasted turkey breast served with gravy, mashed potatoessage stuffing, a root vegetable blend, and cranberry sauce for $20.00. For reservations after 5:00pm, please call 860.862.7005. Guests can also enjoy karaoke starting at 9:00pm.
Michael Jordan’s Steak House will offer a ginger-brined duck breast & crispy Sous Vide duck leg served with sweet potato puree, roasted heirloom carrots, sourdough pecan stuffing, drunken kumquat marmalade, and a duck demi-glace for $45.00. For dessert, pumpkin crème brûlée, and butter pecan cookies for $14.00.
Michael Jordan’s 23.sportscafe will also have a Thanksgiving Day meal for $29.00. Guests can enjoy slow roasted turkey, either white meat or dark meat, sage veloute, Yukon mashed potatoes, traditional bread stuffing and roasted green beans, and a traditional pumpkin pie dessert for an additional $7.00.
Todd’s English Tuscany is preparing a 3-course meal for $40.00. First is a wood-roasted pear and gorgonzola salad topped with candied walnuts, arugula, a pomegranate reduction, and balsamic vinaigrette. The main course is sage brined natural turkey, sausage potato stuffing, roasted root vegetables, sweet potatoes topped with a pecan crumble, bacon Dijon brussel petals, Grappa cranberry sauce, and giblet gravy. For dessert, pecan bread pudding and vanilla gelato.

From 1:00pm to 8:00pm, Bar Americain is presenting a $45.00 three-course feast. First is a gala apple salad with goat cheese, walnuts and a pomegranate vinaigrette. The main course is maple-glazed roasted turkey served with cornbread, wild mushroom stuffing, cranberry-fig chutney, sage gravy, and creamed kale. For dessert, spiced apple caramel crêpes.
At Seasons Buffet, lunch will feature carved slow roasted turkey, honey-mustard glazed ham, and a slow roasted steamship of beef. The Wolf Den is keeping the holiday weekend rolling by hosting a free show by American Idol winner and CT native Nick Fradiani on Friday, November 23rd at 8:00pm. Mohegan Sun Arena wraps up Thanksgiving Day weekend with two shows from Trans-Siberian Orchestra! On Sunday, November 25th at 3:00pm and 8:00pm, Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) will return to Mohegan Sun Arena for their 2018 Winter Tour, The Ghosts of Christmas Eve. The New England Black Wolves kickoff the St. Patrick’s Day weekend on Friday, March 16th hosting their 2nd annual post – game beer garden following the 7:30pm game in the Arena against the Toronto Rock. The beer garden will be located in The Shops concourse, featuring ten local Connecticut breweries including Back East, Outer Light, Hanging Hills, Willibrew and more. Guests can try samples from each brewery in a commemorative Black Wolves tasting mug while hanging out with the Black Wolves roster!
