John Fogerty’s Celebration Tour continues at Mohegan Sun Arena

Tickets On Sale Friday, March 15th

UNCASVILLE, CT (March 11, 2024) –– Announced today, legendary Rock musician John Fogerty continues his Celebration Tour this summer including a stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, June 16th at 7:00pm.  Joining in the party as special guests are fellow ‘bad to the bone’ music icons, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, and Rock band, Hearty Har.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 15th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Rock fans can purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting on Saturday, March 16th, subject to availability.

As founder of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fogerty’s career spans 50 years and he is hailed as one of the most influential musicians in Rock history. As the writer, singer and producer of numerous classic hits including “Born on the Bayou”, “Green River”, “Proud Mary”, and “Bad Moon Rising”, Fogerty is a Grammy winner who has been honored as one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists, 100 Greatest Songwriters, and 100 Greatest Singers by Rolling Stone.

Earning induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame, and Baseball Hall of Fame, he is also a New York Times best-selling author for his memoir, Fortunate Son: My Life, My Music. In January 2023, he regained control over his works, acquiring majority interest of his worldwide publishing rights from Concord. Currently on a worldwide Celebration Tour, Fogerty is now performing his classic songs, with his two sons, for the first time since owning his catalog of songs which have resonated with fans for over five decades.

In December of 1973 at The University of Delaware’s Lane Hall, a guitarist, a drummer, and their rhythm guitarist set up on the small bandstand. Though the three-piece band had barely rehearsed, guitarist George Thorogood and drummer Jeff Simon had been bashing out covers of songs they loved. Five decades, 15 million albums and more than 8,000 performances later, few bands can still rock the house like George Thorogood & The Destroyers. And for Thorogood, Simon, and long-time Destroyers, Bill Blough, Jim Suhler and Buddy Leach, their Bad All Over The World – 50 Years of Rock Tour will be a celebration like no other.

Led by brothers Shane Fogerty (guitar/vocals) and Tyler Fogerty (guitar/vocals), the Los Angeles Rock band Hearty Har formed in 2012 and quickly became known for their exciting and raucous live shows. Backed by Jesse Wilson (bass), Richard Millsap (drums), Nick Stratton (guitar) and Douglas Lamothe (keys), the band blends modern psychedelia with classic Garage Rock and Roll. Imagine a neon lightning bolt extending from the stage and reaching deep into your heart, down to your feet, then through the ground to the Earth’s core. Now you have an idea of Hearty Har’s live show.

Emerging out of Chicago at the turn of the century with an insidious, infectious, and inimitable vision without comparison, Disturbed has quietly dominated Hard Rock on their own terms. They make the kind of music that pushes you to hold on tighter, fight harder, and persevere forever. The two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated quartet have notched five consecutive #1 debuts on the Billboard Top 200, occupying rarified air alongside Metallica—the only other Hard Rock group to accomplish this feat. Since their influential 5x-platinum debut The Sickness in 2000, they have built a bulletproof catalog highlighted by a procession of smashes, including the platinum “Stupify,” “Inside The Fire,” and “Land of Confusion,” 2x-platinum “Stricken,” 6x-platinum “Down With The Sickness,” and 7x-platinum “The Sound of Silence,” to name a few. The latter notably received a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Rock Performance” as the band earned “Best Rock Artist” at the 2017 iHeartRadioMusic Awards. Still, Disturbed never stop, igniting their next chapter with their 2022 album Divisive featuring their 17th #1 at Rock Radio “Hey You,” “Unstoppable,” and more.

Kenny Chesney Spreads The Love

Country superstar returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for back-to-back nights in May

UNCASVILLE, CT (February 9, 2016) – After breaking nine attendance records – many his own – and selling in excess of 1.3 million tickets on The Big Revival Tour, Kenny Chesney wanted to harness the energy of last year’s audiences. This 2016 tour is named Spread the Love to reflect the No Shoes Nation’s passion for living life and loving music and Mohegan Sun Arena is primed to host back-to-back shows, beginning with a Friday, May 13th concert beginning at 7:30pm. Chesney will take the stage again the following evening, on Saturday, May 14th. Special guests for both shows will be ACM “Vocal Group of the Year” nominees, Old Dominion.
Tickets are $125.00 & $95.00 and go on sale Friday, February 12th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am.  Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com; call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone number 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.  Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, February 13th, subject to availability.
Old Dominion are becoming Nashville’s band of songwriters on the verge of their very first #1 with “Break Up With Him.” In addition to penning Chesney’s three-week #1 “Save It For A Rainy Day,” members of the good-vibe group of musicians have written chart-toppers for Blake Shelton (“Sangria”), The Band Perry (“Better Dig Two”), Tyler Farr (“Guy Walks Into A Bar”) and Dierks Bentley (“Say You Do”).
“There is nothing like the energy of a stadium show,” Chesney said. “Old Dominion kicked the whole summer off last year with the best vibe. If we’re talking about Spread the Love, those guys are all about it. If there’s anything I want to see this summer, it’s that attitude that really defines what’s going on.”
“Two parts Mick Jagger, one part Bruce Springsteen and one part Billy Graham,” The Dallas Morning News deemed Chesney this summer – and the man hailed as “The King of the Road” takes his shows very seriously. “After last year, we’ve got a bar to clear, but I am fired up… and missing the fans already. There are a bunch more dates coming, but let’s get the first wave of major stadium shows on the calendar right now!”
Mohegan Sun Arena is now ranked consistently among the top venues in the world according to Billboard Magazine, Pollstar and Venues Today. It has won “Casino of The Year” at the Country Music Awards in 2008 & 2010 and in 2013, was voted “Arena Of The Year” at the G2E Global Gaming Conference in Las Vegas. Also in 2013, Mohegan Sun won “Casino of The Year” in 2 categories at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Mohegan Sun Arena was also ranked among the top 10 arena venues in the nation for 2014, regardless of size. In 2015, Mohegan Sun took home the IEBA award for “Casino of the Year.” For more information on concerts and other great events, visit Mohegan Sun.
