UNCASVILLE, CT (March 27, 2019) – Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) 
has signed an agreement with Kambi Group plc to provide online and on-property betting products to MGE’s signature U.S. integrated entertainment resort located in Connecticut.
Following a competitive process, MGE selected Kambi in part due to its track-record of lawful and responsible delivery in the U.S., including the quality and flexibility of its sports wagering products, trading and risk management capabilities and unrivalled speed to market – both online and on-property.
Since the repeal if the federal sports betting ban in the U.S. last May, Kambi has built a leading position in two of the largest states to have regulated thus far; New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as processing the historic first legal online wager in the country outside of Nevada.
While sports wagering has yet to be regulated on an intrastate basis in Connecticut, Mohegan Sun supports pending state legislation to legalize the activity as early as this year. Under existing tribal-state agreements between the Mohegan Tribe and the State of Connecticut and similar agreements with the other federally recognized tribe in the state, commercial casino games are operated exclusively by the two federally recognized tribes.
In the meantime, the Kambi Sportsbook will be integrated into Mohegan Sun’s iPro gaming platform to power a free-to-play sportsbook, enabling Mohegan Sun guests to familiarize themselves with the Kambi product ahead of a regulated real-money launch.
Due to the uncertain regulatory timetable, Kambi is unable to guide on what impact, if any, the deal will have on its 2019 revenues, however, the strategic alliance is expected to generate material income in future years.

Tom’s Urban is celebrating all March long with St. Madness! Fans of Division I College Basketball can cheer on their bracket picks across 23 hi-definition flat screens and try their luck with Tom’s Two-Handed Stein Hoist, an event that will separate the true fans from the pretenders. Participants of the Two-Handed Stein Hoist will be challenged to see who can hold a 40 oz. glass of their favorite beer airborne the longest. Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House knows how to go all out for St. Patrick’s Day. The regular Lansdowne menu is available all day and includes these special, Irish-inspired dishes:

Entertainment will be provided by Clan O’ Cleary from Noon – 3:00pm and again from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Clan O’Cleary is a five-piece band known throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island for playing traditional Irish music and original songs written by members of the group. The unique instrumentation arranged by the band provides a fuller sound to the audience. This is done by incorporating at least 14 instruments associated with Irish music, and playing multiple instruments in addition to singing.
Live entertainment during St. Patrick’s Day will also be provided by The Wolf Den and Comix Roadhouse. Sean McConnell brings southern charm to The Wolf Den starting at 7:00pm. Sean McConnell’s career started with a grassroots following and has quickly attracted the attention of Country icons like Tim MGraw, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, and more. McConnell’s sound – a warm tenor painting vivid stories over acoustic guitar often cushioned by keys or other strings – has prompted a diverse range of music scenes to warmly claim Sean as one of their own.
St. Patrick’s Day is also Silly Sunday over at the newly renovated Comix Roadhouse, and comedian Pat Oates is bringing the laughs with a show at 8:00pm. Pat is the 2015 winner of Comix Roadhouse’s Last Comix Standing contest, a writer for Laugh Staff and the host of the Pat Oates Is Sad podcast. His crowd work skills are regarded by many of his peers as second to none. Guests who are looking for an earlier show can enjoy house hypnotist Jim Spinnato at 5:00pm. Spinnato’s peformances are a combination of magic, illusion, and comedy; with lots of audience participation.

Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe has corned beef and cabbage served with potatoes, carrots, and grain mustard for $23.00. Pasta Vita is serving corned beef and cabbage dinner for two for $18.95. ABOUT BEN FOLDS
Ben Folds is widely regarded as one of the major music influencers of our generation. He’s created an enormous body of genre-bending music that includes Pop albums with Ben Folds Five, multiple solo albums and numerous collaborative records. His last album was a blend of Pop songs and his Concerto for Piano and Orchestra that soared to #1 on both the Billboard Classical and Classical crossover charts.
For over a decade he’s performed with some of the world’s greatest symphony orchestras, and in 2017 was named as the first ever “Artistic Advisor” to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center.
In addition to touring, Folds is currently writing his first book, described as a collection of interrelated essays and anecdotes about art, life, and music. Release is slated for late summer of 2019.
He is also no stranger to television, having been featured for five seasons as a judge on NBC’s critically-acclaimed a capella show The Sing Off, and continues to appear in cameo roles on cable and network TV shows.
An avid photographer, Folds is a member of the prestigious Sony Artisans of Imagery, completed an assignment in 2017 as a photo editor for National Geographic, and was recently featured in a mini-documentary by the Kennedy Center’s Digital Project on his photographic work.
ABOUT VIOLENT FEMMES
Violent Femmes formed in 1981 as an acoustic Punk band playing on the streets of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their main influences at that time were Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps and The Velvet Underground. Their goal was to rock harder than any other acoustic act on the planet.
After being rejected for an audition by a local nightclub, the Femmes set up outside a Pretenders gig and began to play. Pretenders’ lead singer Chrissie Hynde asked them to open that night’s show, which gave the young band a publicity boost and caught the attention of Richard Hell, who invited the Femmes to open for him in NYC. A rave review in the New York Times eventually led to a record deal, which in turn spawned worldwide touring.
Violent Femmes eponymous debut album became the first and only album in Billboard history to enter the charts with a platinum certification-eight years after its release. Over the ensuing three decades, the Femmes became a mainstay of festivals, clubs, and theaters in more than 20 countries worldwide.
MTV’s Unplugged show was inspired by the Femmes, although they never actually appeared on it. Their raw sound and honest lyrical perspective has been cited as an influence by artists as diverse as Pink, Keith Urban, The Smiths, The Pixies, John Cusack, Mark Morris, and Wim Wenders.
More than 30 years into their careers, Violent Femmes will spend 2019 touring extensively and have announced a new album to be released in late summer.

Little Big Town, consisting of members Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, and Jimi Westbrook, first entered the music scene over 19 years ago with hit songs “Boondocks,” “Bring It On Home,” “Good As Gone” and the Grammy-nominated “Little White Church.” Their breakthrough albums Tornado and Pain Killer produced multiple #1 singles, including “Pontoon,” “Tornado,” and “Day Drinking,” as well as the history-making, best-selling Country single of the year (2015) “Girl Crush.” Released February 24, 2017, Little Big Town’s latest studio album, The Breaker, debuted #1 on the Billboard Country Charts and Top 10 (#4) on the Billboard 200 to critical acclaim, marking the group’s fourth Top 10 debut on the Billboard 200 chart. IN DETAIL: Love will lead you to Mohegan Sun when singer, actress and author Taylor Dayne meets and greets with fans and signs copies of her new book, Tell It To My Heart in The Shops concourse immediately following her 8:00pm show in the Wolf Den.
Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Taylor Dayne will only be signing copies of her book, Tell It To My Heart, which will be available for sale on-site the night of the event from Bank Square Books. Participants must have a book to be in signing line; one book per person. No personal photos allowed. A house photographer will be on-site to take pictures.
