Presented by Bank Square Books, Paula Deen’s Pre-Launch celebration marks the debut of this savory Southern chef’s new cookbook, At The Southern Table with Paula Deen, with two exciting events! On Saturday, September 23rd, fans can get up-close-and-personal with Paula during an exclusive photo meet & greet at Mohegan Sun. Want even more? Opening in the Race Book in late September
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 16, 2017) – Prepare for the ultimate brew selection when New Belgium Brewing comes to Mohegan Sun in fall 2017! The taproom, featuring a rotating line of sour and seasonal beers, will be located in the Race Book in Casino of the Earth.
The 74-seat New Belgium Brewing Taproom will boast 12 draft lines, featuring Fat Tire Style Ale, Fat Tire Belgium White Ale, IPA’s from the Voodoo Ranger IPA collection, Citradelic Tangerine IPA, Belgian Abby and Trippel beers. Plus, the bar will also occasionally showcase limited and special release beers. New Belgium is the second largest brewer of sour style beers in the world and the largest brewer of sour beers in the USA.

Tickets for Sun BrewFest go on sale Friday, August 18th
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 15, 2017) – Sun BrewFest is back! One of Mohegan Sun’s best annual events returns on Saturday, October 7th with an array of craft beers to enjoy. Please your palate and pair your favorite brews with a bite or two as local restaurants feature food for purchase. This year’s event also includes the exclusive Halftime Hops from 6:00pm – 9:00pm and thrilling competition at the Sun BrewFest Cornhole Tournament!
Tickets for Sun BrewFest go on sale Friday, August 18th at 10:00am at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and Ticketmaster. A portion of all ticket prices will go to the Channel 3 Kids Camp. Tickets will be required for entry to all events. All guests in attendance must be 21+.
Grand Tasting
Tap into over 150 of the best beers around during the grand tasting on Saturday, October 7th. Expand your palate with a variety of brew masters pouring out 2 ounce samples of their favorite beers for guests to experience in souvenir, mini pilsner glasses. Try and find your favorite as you taste your way through craft beers, microbrews, imports, domestics and ciders. Live music keeps the entertainment going all day long inside Mohegan Sun’s Uncas Ballroom.
Tickets to the grand tasting are $30.00 per person and event runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Halftime Hops presented by Arooga’s
Sporting the best brews, grab another cold one and hangout at Halftime Hops presented by Arooga’s. Mingle from room to room – and game to game – to get your full fix of sports, including baseball and college football broadcasts, while enjoying craft beer and some of the best bites from the Arooga’s kitchen. With unlimited beer and food samples, it’s your chance to have one last toast! Halftime Hops takes place in the Uncas Ballroom’s upper lobby and runs from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
Tickets to Halftime Hops presented by Arooga’s are $50.00 per person.
Cornhole Tournament
Enjoy a beer and toss some bags at the Sun BrewFest Cornhole Tournament! Choose your partner wisely and head to the Sun BrewFest site to register. Buy-in to the Cornhole Tournament is $100.00 and includes entry to the BrewFest grand tasting plus an exclusive VIP tasting preview.

IN DETAIL: Mohegan Sun & Hall Communications are back hosting another exciting 5-week contest every Wednesday from October 25th – November 29th (excluding November 22nd) from 8:00pm – 11:00pm, where 16 local bands and musicians, four per week, will compete live at the Wolf Den. The four bands/musicians that receive the most overall votes from the audience will compete in the finals on November 29th in front of expert judges to vie for the $5,000 grand prize. Second place receives $1,000.
Come out, enjoy $3.00 Bud & Bud Light specials and text to vote for your favorite! The voting period for each act is open on the night of their performances from the hours of 8:00pm – 11:59pm. Voters can text in their vote up to a maximum of 5 times.

The Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay, steps out for the first time in public with her husband-to-be for a free live Q&A session followed by an autograph signing on Wednesday, August 9th.
*Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited availability. Rachel and her fiancé will only be signing the headshots distributed at event. This event is bracelet-only. Bracelets will be distributed at 5:30pm at the signing location. Guests must be wearing a bracelet in order to gain entry into the signing line. Signing personalization and photos are prohibited.
