The band behind the iconic songs “I Want To Know What Love Is”, “Cold As Ice”, “Hot Blooded”, “Juke Box Hero”, and more Top 10 hits, recently announced their historic farewell tour. Foreigner with special guest Loverboy will perform at 7:00pm on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Foreigner and Loverboy, one of the 80’s biggest hit-makers, will thrill audiences with stellar performances of more than 20 combined chart-topping songs.
Foreigner will continue its long-term initiative with the Grammy Museum Foundation to invite choirs to open the show with a live A Capella Pitch Perfect performance of Classic Rock songs. Foreigner will join radio partners across the country to create a contest for local choirs to win donations to their music programs. One winning choir will be selected at each show and that choir will receive a grand prize of new musical equipment.
“Many years ago, I wrote a song called ‘Feels Like The First Time’ and today we are launching one last worldwide tour. We will be presenting a show that I know will have the same enthusiasm as our very first appearances,” Mick Jones, leader and founder of Foreigner, said. “While I’m sure our fans will have mixed feelings about the end of the road for the band, I know our shows are going to delight audiences everywhere.”
Mick Jones continues to elevate Foreigner’s influence and guide the band to new horizons with his stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents while lead singer Kelly Hansen, one of Rock’s greatest showmen, has led Foreigner into the digital age inspiring a whole new generation of fans. Bassist Jeff Pilson; Michael Bluestein on keyboards; guitarist Bruce Watson; Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Maldonado provide an unprecedented level of energy that has resulted in the reemergence of the astounding music that speaks to Foreigner’s enduring popularity.
With their trademark red leather pants, bandanas, big Rock sound and high-energy live shows, Loverboy has sold more than 10 million albums, earning four multi-platinum plaques, including Get Lucky, and a trio of double-platinum releases in their self-titled 1980 debut, 1983’s Keep It Up and 1985’s Lovin’ Every Minute of It. Their string of hits includes “Working for the Weekend”, “Lovin’ Every Minute of It”, This Could Be the Night”, “Hot Girls in Love”, “The Kid is Hot Tonite”, “Notorious”, “Turn Me Loose”, “When It’s Over”, “Heaven In Your Eyes”, and “Queen of the Broken Hearts.” The group still features the original lineup of vocalist Mike Reno, guitarist Paul Dean, drummer Matt Frenette, and keyboardist Doug Johnson with bassist Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve replacing the late Scott Smith.

Tickets on sale Friday, December 2nd
When Kenny Chesney wrapped his 2022 Here and Now Tour – playing to more than 1.3 million people and breaking personal records in many of the 21 NFL stadiums he played – the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar knew he wanted to create a touring experience to make 2023 every bit as special. Chesney returns to the cities that were a major part of establishing what has become the soundtrack of coming of age in the 21st century with his I Go Back Tour. Chesney returns to Mohegan Sun Arena with special guest Kelsea Ballerini at 7:30pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023.
Tickets are $179.50, $159.50, $149.50, and $129.50 and go on sale Friday, December 2nd at 10:00am via ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, December 3rd, subject to availability.
“I can still hear No Shoes Nation singing those songs after being apart for four whole summers,” Chesney, who just received 28 RIAA gold, platinum, and multi-platinum certifications, said. “It’s a sound that reminds me how much music really means to people. It’s not about the numbers, but the joy you see on people’s faces – and the more I thought about it, the more I thought about taking the music to people who were there when this thing was taking off.”
Joining the only Country artist who’s made Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Past 25 years for the last 14 years for this highly anticipated tour is three-time Grammy nominee Kelsea Ballerini. A songwriting force, she launched her singular career with three consecutive No. 1s and a Best New Artist Grammy nomination and has not looked back. Having enlisted Kenny for their No. 1 “half of my hometown,” which won the 2021 Country Music Association “Vocal Event” and “Video of the Year” Award and was nominated for the 2022 CMA “Single of the Year,” she, too, embodies that feeling of loving where you’re from, but knowing your heart has bigger dreams.
“Music has taken me so many incredible places,” Ballerini said. “Around the world, singing with some of my heroes in Pop, Alternative and Contemporary music, but singing with Kenny is going home. He was the only voice I heard on “half of my hometown,” and when he comes in, it’s just like hitting the Knoxville city limits. So to be able to go out to those cities like the place he and I grew up with an artist who’s accomplished what he has, it’s a lot like going home.”
Hailed as “The King of the Road,” by the Wall Street Journal and “The People’s Superstar” by the Los Angeles Times, Chesney’s music distills living beyond the media centers – recognizing the dignity, richness and fun of an authentic American life. As Variety offered of his immediacy and appeal: “Classic-Rock-infused-Country with his in-the-moment philosophy.”

Rhett shared a light-hearted video revealing jerseys to celebrate the many tour destinations, including the jersey of former WNBA MVP Jonquel Jones of the Connecticut Sun.
About Thomas Rhett
Ten years after signing his record deal with Big Machine Label Group’s The Valory Music Co., arena-packing superstar Thomas Rhett — dubbed “the most reliable maker of No. 1 singles in country music” (Variety) — has 19 multi-PLATINUM and GOLD-certified No. 1 hits, 12 BILLION streams and the longest current active streak of consecutive No. 1s in the format (Mediabase/Country Aircheck Chart). Declared “a prince in the genre” (USA Today), he has been honored with eight ACM Awards including Entertainer of the Year, two CMA Awards, five GRAMMY nominations, plus trophies from the CMT Music Awards, Billboard Awards and iHeartRadio Awards, in addition to being recognized with two CMA Triple Play awards for penning three No. One songs within a 12-month period. The superstar’s critically-acclaimed sixth studio album WHERE WE STARTED is available now, with single “Half of Me,” featuring Riley Green, currently Top 5 at Country radio. Thomas Rhett has also just released his first-ever Christmas collection MERRY CHRISTMAS Y’ALL, featuring his rich vocal and sincere delivery, with a country flair on four favorite festive tracks. Inspired by family, friends and his love of the outdoors, Thomas Rhett is also the cofounder of Dos Primos Tequila and has collaborated with Chaco on an exclusive sandal line. He recently extended his BRING THE BAR TO YOU TOUR into 2023 with dates scheduled for the top of next year in Canada. For more information, visit www.ThomasRhett.com.
About Cole Swindell
Multi-Platinum selling superstar Cole Swindell released his fifth studio album, Stereotype, to massive success. The project has already charted three back-to-back multi-week No. 1 hits: the Gold-certified “Single Saturday Night,” the Platinum-certified “Never Say Never” (with Lainey Wilson) and, most recently, the Platinum-certified, five-week chart-topper “She Had Me At Heads Carolina.” In the seven years since his debut on Warner Music Nashville, Swindell has racked up an impressive 12 No. 1 singles as an artist – 13 as a songwriter – 11 certified Platinum singles (four singles at 2x Platinum), a Platinum-certified debut album (Cole Swindell) and a Gold-certified sophomore album (You Should Be Here). The Georgia hitmaker has over 5.2 BILLION global career streams. His massive, GRAMMY-nominated hit “Break Up In The End” was named the 2019 NSAI Song of the Year. Swindell is nominated for two CMA Awards for Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year for “Never Say Never” with Lainey Wilson. He officially became a headliner on his own in 2018 with his Reason To Drink Tours, and is currently out on the road with Ashley Cooke and Dylan Marlowe for his Back Down To The Bar Tour.
About Nate Smith
With a mix of gritty backwoods soul, rock ‘n’ roll swagger and velvet-thunder vocals, Nate Smith first chased his neon dreams to Nashville in his early 20s – but it didn’t stick. The disheartened Smith returned home and thought he was “100-percent done” with his artistic journey…until a crucible of change burned away the past. In 2018, Smith lost everything he owned in the devastating Camp Fire which tore through Paradise, California. Although his family was safe, he struggled to cope and turned back to music, hoping that it would help comfort himself and others. Help it did, inspiring a month-long road trip across the U.S. to Music City, writing music and playing dive bars along the way. Soon after his arrival to Nashville, Nate released his biggest song to date, “Wildfire,” and landed a publishing deal with Sony ATV. Since then, he’s released new music including “Sleeve” and “Under My Skin,” which has amassed over 70 million on-demand streams to date. The singer was named a Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2021 – an accurate prediction as he rounded out the year with a record deal with Sony Music Nashville and is now making waves with his latest release, “Whiskey On You,” which is now Gold-certified and Top 15 and climbing at country radio.

Tickets on sale Friday, November 4th
Anthrax & Black Label Society with special guest Exodus will visit Mohegan Sun Arena for one spectacular night of Heavy Metal at 6:30pm on Friday, February 3, 2023.
Tickets are $45, $35, and $25 and go on sale Friday, November 4th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning on Saturday, November 5th, subject to availability.
Anthrax is composed of Scott Ian (guitars), Frank Bello (bass), Charlie Benante (drums), Joey Belladonna (vocals) and Jonathan Donias (guitars). Anthrax celebrated its 40th anniversary in July 2021. In the span of 40 years, the band has released 11 studio albums, earned multiple Gold and Platinum certifications, received six Grammy nominations along with a host of other accolades from the media, music industry, and fans.
In 1991, the band helped break down race and genre barriers when they collaborated with Public Enemy on the track “Bring The Noise” and were the first Metal band to have its music heard on Mars when NASA played “Got The Time” to wake up the Mars Rover in 2012. Along with Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth, Anthrax is a card-carrying member of The Big Four, the four bands that defined the Speed/Thrash/Metal genre.
Everything about Black Label Society begins with the riff. A dedicated disciple of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Deep Purple, Zakk Wylde looks to the massive guitar hooks in classics like “Whole Lotta Love,” “Into the Void,” and “Smoke On the Water” as guiding lights. “The main ingredient in any Black Label soup is the riff,” says the larger-than-life front man.
Black Label Society builds their music on this simple truth – truth as self-evident on Back in Black as on the dozen songs comprising Doom Crew Inc. – the 11th album from the dependable stalwarts. Doom Crew Inc. is both a tribute to the band’s “first to bleed, last to leave” road crew and a salute to the legion whose support, stretching back to 1998, rivals that of the KISS Army. The Black Label Society biker-style battle vest “kutte” is as ubiquitous at Hard Rock and Metal shows as a black t-shirt.
A charismatic Heavy Metal marauder recognized worldwide as a living legend, Wylde rose to prominence when Ozzy Osbourne chose him as his loyal axe-man, based on a cassette he mailed in as a teen. Guitar World put him on their cover more than a dozen times in recognition of his work on multiplatinum albums by the icon he calls “the Boss” and the two decades of music made by BLS.
Doom Crew Inc. sees Zakk trading solos and twin-guitar parts with Dario Lorina, backed by the rumble of longtime bassist John “J.D.” DeServio and powerhouse drummer Jeff Fabb. Like every BLS album since 2010, the band tracked Doom Crew Inc. at Zakk’s home studio, aka the Black Vatican.
The beautiful simplicity of BLS bangers owe everything to the lessons Wylde first heard on Black Sabbath’s We Sold Our Soul for Rock ‘n’ Roll. “Less is more with everything,” he says. “Except the guitar solos.”
