Adam Sandler & Friends – The Do Over Tour Live in Uncasville

One of the biggest movie stars on the planet is bringing a few of buddies with him out on the road this spring for a select number of very special live comedy performances. Adam Sandler, along with friends David Spade, Rob Schneider and Nick Swardson, are headlining The Do Over Tour live in Mohegan Sun Arena on May 27th at 7:30pm, the same day Netflix is releasing their film of the same name.

The Academy of Country Music Awards announced in Las Vegas, NV that Mohegan Sun has once again won multiple ACM Awards, sweeping the field for casino awards. Mohegan Sun Arena has won “Casino of the Year” for medium capacity venues for the second time in three years. An unprecedented 5th ACM award for the Arena! Mohegan Sun Employees Donate More 20,000 Non-Perishable Food Items For New London, CT Food Center

Last month, Mohegan Sun ran a Battle of the Departments Food Drive where all of the food donations go to benefit United Way’s Gemma E. Moran Labor Food Center out of New London, CT. Mohegan Sun is proud to report that 23,003 items of non-perishable food were collected in just one month, to help feed community members in need. A participation level that Sharon Peccini, Senior VP for United Way of Southeastern Connecticut, said was, “Possibly the best employee food drive we have ever seen.”

Cyndi Lauper Takes Her Country Detour on the Road

Iconic performer and musical chameleon Cyndi Lauper announced today the DETOUR TOUR in support of her upcoming studio album DETOUR available May 6th on Sire Records. The 19-city tour will stop by Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, May 20th at 7:30pm. Select dates, including two nights at New York City’s historic Beacon Theatre and May 20th at Mohegan Sun Arena, will feature a co-headlining performance by Boy George.

Keith Thurman Sustains Injury Forcing Cancellation of Title Defense Against Shawn Porter

Undefeated world champion Keith Thurman sustained an injury as a result of a car accident that has forced his welterweight title defense date against Shawn Porter at Mohegan Sun Arena to be cancelled. The announcement was made yesterday by promoter Lou DiBella, president of DiBella Entertainment. According to his doctors, Thurman’s injuries are not considered serious and he is expected to be cleared to resume training in the coming weeks. Thurman vs. Porter was the main event of a scheduled two-fight card to be broadcast in prime time on CBS on March 12th. This fight and the network broadcast will now be rescheduled for a later date.
