Enjoy poolside nightlife in style with the brand new GLO At The Pool night club launching on Thursday, June 28th with scheduled appearance by LMFAO
Mohegan Sun is adding to its long list of popular nightlife destinations this summer with the opening of the all-new GLO at the Pool night club. Located on the third floor of Mohegan Sun Hotel; the new nightlife offering will open on Thursday, June 28th at 9:00pm with an appearance by LMFAO after their concert in Mohegan Sun Arena and a performance by Clinton Sparks.
Beginning Thursday, June 28th, every Thursday and Saturday night all summer long, Mohegan sun will be hosting New England’s only nighttime pool party; GLO at the Pool. Sponsored by Heineken & Bacardi, GLO at the Pool will feature cabanas, fire pits, cash bars, celebrity appearances and more. Party goers can dance outside under the stars on the poolside terrace located adjacent to the pool. Live DJs will keep the party going with DJ Flip spinning on Thursdays and DJ Valentina taking the reins on Saturdays. Equipped with four cabanas that can be rented for bottle service, GLO at the Pool is sure to be hottest and most exclusive summertime party in the northeast. GLO at the Pool’s grand opening is on Thursday, June 28th and will feature a scheduled appearance by LMFAO following their show in Mohegan Sun Arena. Renowned DJ Clinton Sparks will also be on hand for a special performance. It is going to be the can’t miss party of the summer!
Cover charges on Thursdays will be $10.00 and $20.00 for Saturday. Guests can access GLO at the Pool by simply taking the designated Mohegan Sun hotel elevator up to the third floor. Entry for ladies is free until 11:00pm on both Thursday and Saturday nights. Hotel guests will be granted free access as well.
Thursday night cabanas will be offered for $500.00 and Saturday evening Cabanas will be priced at $700.00. Both options include entry for up to six guests and front of line access into the club. Iconic musician performs live in Mohegan Sun Arena on October 13th
Following the critically acclaimed New Blood tour in 2011 that reignited Peter Gabriel fans across the world by reimagining his best known songs through stunning orchestral arrangements, Gabriel returns to U.S. stages to celebrate his 25th anniversary of the groundbreaking, iconic album So on Saturday, October 13th at 8:00pm.

Peter Gabriel first came to international prominence with the success of Genesis, a band that he co-founded while still in school. ABOUT DEREK HOUGH: Derek Hough, the only 3-time champion in franchise history of the hit ABC show Dancing With The Stars, started dancing in his hometown of Salt Lake City, UT, at age 11. Just one year later, he moved to London to live and train with the top dance instructors in the world and attend performing arts school where he studied theatre, music and dance.

One Direction made history when their debut album Up All Night entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart at #1 with over 176,000 copies sold. ABOUT AARON HERNANDEZ: Aaron Hernandez grew up and played high school football in Bristol, Connecticut. In 2006 he amassed 1,807 receiving yards, 24 touchdown catches and set a state record of 376 receiving yards in one game, a number that also marks the seventh best game total in high school history. After a brilliant college career playing tight end for the Florida Gators, the New England Patriots drafted Hernandez in the fourth round. In his first year with the team he caught 45 passes for 563 total yards and 6 touchdowns. This most recent season saw the athletic tight end grab 79 catches to go along with 1,473 yards and 7 touchdowns. It was this 2011-2012 season that he and fellow Patriot, Rob Gronkowski, combined for one of the most jaw dropping offensive seasons ever produced by two tight end teammates in history with well over 2,000 combined receiving yards, 24 total touchdowns and a whopping 169 receptions.
ABOUT NIKO KOUTOUVIDES: A Plainville, Connecticut native, Niko Koutouvides went on to play for the Purdue Boilermakers after a very impressive high school career. As a linebacker, his 296 tackles, five interceptions, four sacks and four fumble recoveries in his 3 years at Purdue were more than enough to get the attention of the Seattle Seahawks. After a few stops across the league, the Patriots acquired Koutouvides in August of 2011 and he became a staple on special teams throughout the year and in the post-season.

Enjoy the big race inside the Uncas Ballroom on June 9th with top notch food, drinks and special guests
Saturday, June 9th will mark the third and final leg of horse racing’s Big 3 with the 2012 Belmont Stakes and once again, Mohegan Sun will be calling on fans to enjoy the action in the Uncas Ballroom. With the added excitement of a Triple Crown threat in this year’s race, Mohegan Sun’s Belmont Stakes Party will begin at 11:00am. Special guest handicappers Richard Eng and Tom Quigley will also be in attendance.
When doors open, guests can enjoy unique drink specials and get their wagers in. Any guest who makes a $25.00 wager will receive an official Belmont Stakes souvenir and guests who make a $50.00 scores a free pass to the buffet. Advance wagering in the Race Book is also available on Friday, June 8th. Race fans will receive an official Belmont Stakes souvenir gift with any $25.00 advance wager.
The Uncas Ballroom will be equipped with 30 betting terminals and several large screens dedicated to the races. There will be open seating for approximately 1,000 people; seating is solely on a “first-come, first-served” basis. All guests must be 21 years of age or older to participate.
Guests looking to gain professional insight on the race can pick the brains of special guest handicappers Richard Eng and Tom Quigley. Due to a personal family emergency, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has to postpone their schedule performance for June 1st to a later date in the near future. Mohegan Sun apologizes for the inconvenience and has replaced the performance with Brooks and Dunn’s own Kix Brooks.
Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, Kix Brooks was influenced by a variety of regional musical styles ranging from Cajun, Blues, Jazz and Country. Brooks began performing at the age of 12 and continued performing in clubs and at other venues throughout high school. Eventually, he landed in Nashville and joined Tree Publishing Company as a songwriter. Shortly thereafter, artists like the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John Conlee and Highway 101 all scored #1’s with Brooks’ songs. In 1990, Brooks teamed with Ronnie Dunn to form Brooks & Dunn, the highest selling duo in the history of Country music.
Wolf Den performances are free and open to the public. Must be 21 years or older to attend.
