Charity concert with top Country artist Chris Janson set for Friday, October 25th in the Wolf Den
WHAT: MADD About Chris Janson – a Mothers Against Drunk Driving 11th Annual Charity Concert returns to Mohegan Sun. MADD is teaming up with Mohegan Sun, WCTY, New London Day, Buckley Wynne & Parese, Faxon Law Group, Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder PC, Hoffman Auto Group, Outfront Media, Fundación Mapfre, and CMRK, Inc. This year’s MADD concert in the Wolf Den is a free event!
WHEN/ WHERE: Friday, October 25th at 8:00pm; Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun
IN DETAIL: Taking over the Wolf Den, MADD About Chris Janson, will be the featured entertainment for the 11th annual MADD benefit. Longtime supporter and radio host, Shelly Martinez of WCTY – FM, will also be on – hand to give a special message before the concert. Festivities will include a silent auction at The Shops at Mohegan Sun starting at Noon to 10:00pm.
Donations to MADD will be accepted at the auction table throughout the night. All proceeds benefit MADD.
Wolf Den performances are free and open to the public. Must be 21 years of age to enter the Wolf Den. Lines form early and seats are given on a first – come, first – serve basis until we are at full capacity. Limited seating available.

ABOUT CHRIS JANSON: Chris Janson is a platinum-selling recording artist, high-octane entertainer, multi-instrumentalist, and award-winning singer/songwriter. Janson’s new song, “Good Vibes,” is the debut single from his forthcoming third studio album. MADD Connecticut is committed to clearly and powerfully advocating for victims of alcohol – related crashes. MADD delivers quality services to hundreds of families each year at no cost to them, as well as help victims/survivors through the multitude of emotions and criminal proceedings that take place through court accompaniment and by providing grief counseling and support groups. MADD’s goal is to eliminate drunk driving and educate Connecticut youth about underage drinking. MADD introduces and follows legislation concerning bills to strengthen drunk driving laws.

Mohegan Sun’s Party on the Rooftop, the Friday hotspot for the 21 and older crowd on the Riverview Garage Rooftop. All summer long, we’re partying with drink specials including $7.00 specialty cocktails and $3.00 Bud Light drafts, fire pits, table games, slot machines, cornhole games and your favorite tunes by amazing tribute bands.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, feel free to bring your own chairs! Guests are not permitted to bring coolers or outside

WHEN/ WHERE: Every Wednesday from November 7th to December 12th (excluding November 21st) from 8:00pm to 10:00pm in the Wolf Den. The finals will take place on Wednesday, December 12th where the top four bands will compete for the Grand Prize.
IN DETAIL: Mohegan Sun & Hall Communications are back hosting another exciting 5 – week contest, where 16 local bands and musicians, four per week, will compete live at the Wolf Den. The four bands/musicians that receive the most overall votes from the audience will compete in the finals on December 12th in front of expert judges to vie for the $5,000 grand prize, second place receives $1,000. Come out and vote for your favorite!
Enjoy $3.00 Bud & Bud Light specials and text to vote for your favorite! The voting period for each act is open on the night of their performances from the hours of 8:00pm – 11:59pm. Voters can text in their vote up to a maximum of 5 times. The top four bands from each night with the highest votes will perform on December 12th.

The triple-threat, singer, songwriter and guitarist will play in the Wolf Den and then take part in the signing immediately following her show in The Shops concourse.
Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Lindsay Ell will only be signing copies of her latest CD, The Project, which must be purchased at Spin Street on the day of the event, which will allow guests access to the event. Wristbands will be distributed upon purchase. Personal photos and signing personalization are prohibited.
