100th Anniversary Miss America Competition Tickets On Sale Now!  

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 14, 2021) – The Miss America Organization is thrilled to announce tickets to the 100th Anniversary Competition are now available for purchase! This year’s competition will be held Sunday, December 12th through Thursday, December 16th at Mohegan Sun. Preliminaries take place at Mohegan Sun’s Earth Expo Center and the finals will take place in the award-winning 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena.

Tickets to the preliminaries are $100 and $50. Tickets to the final competition are $250, $150 and $100. Guests can purchase tickets to these events via ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability.

The 51 outstanding young women vying for the job of Miss America will begin their competition week on Sunday, December 12th with the first evening of preliminary competition followed by round two on Monday, December 13th. Doors will open at 6:00pm with the shows beginning at 7:00pm.

The final competition on Thursday, December 16th will begin with the Forever Miss Americas pre-show at 7:00pm, followed by the live competition show at 8:00pm. Vets Rock Returns To Mohegan Sun November 13th

7th annual event benefiting veterans and active duty military to take place in the Uncas Ballroom

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 11, 2021) – Vets Rock, a free event where Mohegan Sun and the community come together to celebrate active duty military and veterans with a day of valuable programs and resources, returns Saturday, November 13th. Special services featured in the Uncas Ballroom include a career fair presented by Mohegan Sun, Veteran Service Organizations, Educational Services, Save-A-Suit, and companies looking to provide benefits to veterans and military members.

Opening Ceremony
Vets Rock 2021 will begin with an opening ceremony hosted by Gil Simmons of WTNH in The Shops concourse at 11:00am. The opening ceremony includes a salute to veterans and active duty military personnel remarks by invited dignitaries, and a display by the Tribal Colour Guard.

Vets Rock Expo
From 12:00pm – 6:00pm, guests are invited to partake in the free Vets Rock Expo in the Earth Expo & Convention Center. The expo features over 50 veteran services organizations and a career fair hosted by Mohegan Sun. The Save-A-Suit program will also be on-hand, outfitting up to 100 veterans with professional attire. Pre-registration through the website is required to participate in Save-A-Suit. Guests can also donate professional attire at the entrance of the Uncas Ballroom.

Culinary positions offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus, housekeeping positions offer a $500 sign-on bonus

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 7, 2021) – This fall Mohegan Sun is set to host two hiring events on Wednesday, October 13th and Wednesday, October 27th. Employment opportunities are open in Food & Beverage, Event Support, Security, Marketing, VIP, Accounting, Hotel, Retail and more. Culinary positions offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus while all housekeeping and Barista-Starbucks positions offer a $500 sign-on bonus. Bonuses will be paid out in increments.

Both of these hiring events slated for October 13th and 27th will take place from 10:00am – 5:00pm located in the Earth Expo & Convention Center.

  • Episode 1:  A Delicious Collaboration

Follow cast members, Jeff, Chris, and the construction team as they set to transform one of the resorts most sought out real estate locations into one of the hottest new restaurants in the Northeast.

  • Episode 2:  Bubbleville Part 1

As the pandemic continued on and the award-winning Mohegan Sun Arena remained closed to fans, the Mohegan Sun marketing and entertainment teams developed a slam dunk partnership with the NCAA to host the NCAA college basketball tournament in a “bubble.” The team quickly kicks into high gear to set the standard for health and safety protocols during this national event. The cast works to navigate uncharted waters with last minute changes and continued pandemic challenges, getting ready for the arrival of over 30 basketball teams.

  • Episode 3: Bubbleville Part 2

With the colleges beginning to roll in, the event security team faces new hurdles as they persevere getting every team through state-of-the-art safety and health protocols. Then, it’s all hands-on deck as the banquets team works to feed all the teams, while the Arena and Expo Center have both been transformed into giant TV studios and practice facilities. Throughout this unique story, the cast reflects on the hard work, challenges and successes of welcoming college basketball back to the court.

  • Episode 4: Vegas Baby

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) team members head out to Las Vegas as they collaborate with Virgin Hotels to transform a tired, old casino into one of Sin’s-City’s most anticipated new resorts. Both the Vegas and Connecticut teams come together to produce Mohegan Sun magic as the doors to this one-of-a-kind, and first ever Tribal casino resort, open to the public in Las Vegas for the very first time.

  • Episode 5: Live Music Is Back

There is a buzz around property, and that means only one thing: a sold-out show in the award-winning Mohegan Sun Arena! With the return of live music, Mohegan Sun welcomes back renowned music group, Lady A, and thousands of fans to the first full capacity show in a very long time. The entire entertainment team has been counting down the days until this moment, as Lady A takes the stage at one of the world’s top arenas. Dancing With The Stars Live Returns To Mohegan Sun Arena

Audiences will experience the excitement, glitz and glamour they see in the ballroom every Monday night live in their hometown

America’s favorite dance show is returning to Mohegan Sun Arena for two shows at 7:30pm on January 14 & 15, 2022 this to celebrate its 30th season with “Dancing with the Stars – Live Tour 2022.” This year’s all-new production will feature fan-favorite professional dancers thrilling audiences with all of the breathtaking dance styles seen on ABC’s hit show Dancing with the Stars.

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment and FanDuel Group Launch Sports Betting in Connecticut

Mohegan Sun opens Retail Sports Betting with America’s #1 Sportsbook

UNCASVILLE, CT – September 30, 2021 – Today, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) and FanDuel Group launched a retail sports betting experience for residents and visitors to the state of Connecticut. To celebrate the launch of sports betting in Connecticut, a temporary Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook retail location at Bow & Arrow Sports Bar opened to the public at 9:30am with a ribbon cutting ceremony that featured Connecticut Governor, Ned Lamont, who also placed a ceremonial first bet. Lamont placed the 1st legal sports bet in Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook, which was $50.00 on the Connecticut Sun to win by more than 7.5 points tonight vs. the Chicago Sky.

Former NFL legends, Wayne Chrebet and Darius Butler, were also on hand to celebrate the launch of sports betting at Mohegan Sun. Chrebet placed a $20.00 wager on the Jets moneyline for their game this weekend against the Tennessee Titans, and Butler placed a $20..00 wager on the New England Patriots moneyline, hoping they notch a win against the Tampa Buccaneers on Sunday night.

Just in time for Week 4 of the NFL season, the temporary Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook is conveniently located near the Autumn entrance at Mohegan Sun and features four live betting windows and nearly 50 self-service betting terminals. The companies anticipate opening the permanent Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook this winter in a fully revamped area where the Mohegan Sun Race Book was previously located. Pentatonix To Return To Mohegan Sun Arena

Tickets for Pentatonix: The Evergreen Christmas Tour 2021 go on sale this Friday, October 1st

Three-time Grammy Award®-winning and multi-platinum selling group Pentatonix is bringing the holiday spirit to Mohegan Sun Arena on December 4th at 8:00pm. Pentatonix: The Evergreen Christmas Tour 2021celebrates the quintet’s sixth holiday themed album, Evergreen, which will be released on October 29th.

Tickets are $75 & $55 and go on sale Friday, October 1st at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning Saturday, October 2nd, subject to availability.

The tour requires all attendees to have received a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours, or be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after final dose) and provide proof of vaccination prior to entering the venue. Unvaccinated fans under 12 years of age will be required to take a COVID-19 diagnostic test within 72 hours before the event and must provide proof of negative result prior to entering venue. Entry requirements and venue protocols are subject to change.
