UNCASVILLE, CT (July 21, 2021) – Entertainment is heating up at Mohegan Sun this summer, with incredible stand-up comedy inside Comix Comedy Club, can’t miss tribute bands at the new Party on the Patio event every Friday night and of 
course, the biggest names in music returning to the 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena. Joining the mix of incredible live entertainment throughout the summer will be exciting local bands playing the Wolf Den every week. Hitting the stage in August and September include acts like the Brandt Taylor Band, F & Blues Band, Thirty 6 Red, the ToneShifters, and plenty more!

Popular local acts that have recently played the Wolf Den of recent include Branded Country that ROCKS, Wicked Peach, Whiskey Boulevard, Last Licks and more. The action rolls on in early August, when singer, songwriter and incredible guitarist, Brandt Taylor, returns to the Wolf Den stage.
Taylor, who hails from Connecticut and began playing music at the age of nine and professionally by 16, will take the stage with his full band, playing original music. Don’t miss the Brandt Taylor Band at 8:00pm on Thursday, August 5th.
On Saturday, August 7th, F & Blues Band is scheduled to play the Wolf Den at 8:00pm. Based out of southern New England, F & Blues Band is a high energy Blues dance band comprised of four highly seasoned musicians playing the best of Old Blues and original tunes. Other great local acts like Thirty 6 Red, Fleet, Plain Jane and Van Halen Tribute featuring Tyler Morris fill out the August calendar in the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun.
In September, the thrilling group, Souls on Fire, bring their 10-piece horn section and the best music of the 70’s to the Wolf Den stage. Souls on Fire plays the hits form Chicago, Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Motown and plenty more. Wolf Den fans can’t go wrong on Thursday, September 2nd for an amazing performance kicking off at 8:00pm.
New London’s own, the ToneShifters, are set for back-to-back Wolf Den shows (8:00pm) beginning Saturday, September 4th. Formed in 2009, the ToneShifters are a Blues / Roots band who have played venues like C.B.G.B’s, Studio 54 and the Hartford Civic Center. And on Friday, September 17th and Saturday, September 18th, the band Red Light will be performing at 8:00pm in the Wolf Den. Red Light is known throughout New England, bringing classic Dance Party Rock, Country Rock and Pop Rock covers to live music fans. This experienced and dynamic band plays a wide variety of hits, with two highly-skilled guitarists, a monster back beat and multiple part harmonies. Red Light was voted the 2020 Best Musical Group of Eastern CT by The Norwich Bulletin Readers Choice Awards.
The Wolf Den will also still feature some nationally touring headliners throughout the summer as well, including Autograph on Thursday, July 29th, Queensrÿche on Saturday, August 14th and O-Town on Thursday, September 30th.

Momentum members can take advantage of a new promotion every day of the week! Guests can sign up for Mohegan Sun’s free rewards program at any Player’s Club booth on property.
On More Money Mondays, Momentum members can win their share of $10,000 cash! Every Monday from June 28th – August 30th, one Momentum member will be randomly selected every thirty minutes between 10:00am – 7:30pm to win $500 cash. That’s 20 winners every Monday! To enter, Momentum members can play their favorite slots, tables, stadium games or poker games in the Poker Room. All Momentum members must be present to win.
During Catchin’ Rays Tuesdays, Momentum members can go head-to-head with other members in their status level for up to 1,000 Momentum Dollars! This year’s Hot Summer Fun welcomes the return of live outdoor entertainment with a new twist! Party on the Patio takes place every Friday from 7:00pm – 11:00pm. BBQ lovers rejoice! Mohegan Sun’s annual Sun BBQ Fest returns to wrap up Hot Summer Fun on Saturday, September 4th and Sunday, September 5th. Guests can gather in the Winter Parking Lot to taste the best in barbecue, cold beer and handcrafted cocktails, all while enjoying live entertainment. Full plate vending will be provided from nationally acclaimed BBQ teams. Sample bites will also be available through the “People’s Choice Competition”, and guests are also welcome to participate in the annual Wing & Rib competition. Fans Excited to Return for Major Sports & Shows

among the top entertainment venues worldwide according to Billboard Magazine, Pollstar and others, was excited this past weeknd to welcome back fans with return of the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun, who are currently 2-0 and led by DeWanna Bonner and Jonquel Jones. Mohegan Sun Arena’s first public concert since winter 2020 is also scheduled, when Soft-Rock duo, Air Supply, plays on Sunday, July 18th. More exciting upcoming concerts planned in Mohegan Sun Arena include Lady A on July 29th, Dustin Lynch on August 5th, Straight No Chaser on August 8th, Deftones on August 21st, Tom Segura on August 27th, Toby Keith on September 3rd and back-to-back Sebastian Maniscalco dates on October 1st and 2nd. Major 2022 Mohegan Sun Arena concerts announced recently also include The Weeknd (February 6, 2022), Brad Paisley (May 27, 2022) and Justin Bieber (June 18, 2022). Mohegan Sun Arena was named “Innovator of the Year” by Celebrity Access in part due to the transformation that Mohegan Sun Arena underwent during much of the pandemic, becoming a broadcast residency center for sports including MMA, Boxing and College Basketball. ViacomCBS and Mohegan Sun partnered to host the most championship MMA (Bellator) and Boxing fights ever held at a venue in one year, seen by millions around the world. This partnership is also currently the longest running residency in the US. In late 2020, Mohegan Sun Arena was also home to “Bubbleville,” where the Basketball Hall of Fame and Gazelle Group safely completed 26 Division 1 NCAA Men’s and Women’s games in the span of 10 days.
Just before Mohegan Sun’s temporary closure related to the pandemic last year, Bellator MMA was the last public sporting event held in Mohegan Sun Arena. On Friday, June 11th, they are now planned to be the first to welcome back fans, in limited fashion, when Douglas Lima defends his title against the undefeated and #1 ranked Yaroslav Amosov. Tickets start at $60.00 and will be available through Ticketmaster.com on Friday, May 21st, with a special presale starting on Thursday, May 20th from 10:00am – 10:00pm EST.
This fight will also be on SHOWTIME. Bellator MMA will also feature a main event between heavyweight Tim Johnson (15-6) and heavyweight Valentin Moldavsky (10-1) live from Mohegan Sun Arena, with limited fans, on Friday, June 25th. A Hall of Fame Tip-Off NCAA Tournament is also being planned at Mohegan Sun Arena for the start of College Basketball later this year. North Carolina, Villanova, Purdue and Tennessee are expected headliners.
Additionally, Mohegan Sun’s award-winning Wolf Den venue inside Casino of the Earth is back. Limited capacity shows returned this month, and upcoming shows include local favorites Crazy on You – A Tribute to Heart, The 60s Explosion Show and Mullett, to name a few.
This past weekend, Mohegan Sun also successfully hosted the nationally televised Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Weekend, celebrating the class of 2020. The likes of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Julius “Dr. J” Erving and other legends were on hand Saturday, May 15th, for the Enshrinement Ceremony inside Mohegan Sun Arena, which hosted 2,000 socially distanced fans. Kobe Bryant was posthumously inducted into to the Basketball Hall of Fame, along with an incredible class that included Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Tamika Catchings and more.

UNCASVILLE, CT (January 16, 2020) – Mohegan Sun’s 17th Annual Sun Wine & Food Fest takes place Friday, January 24th – Sunday, January 26th, and a variety of celebrities are joining in on the fun with appearances at the Bourbon Tasting, Grand Tasting, Celebrity Chef Dine Around and more! Tickets to all events are still available for purchase via ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Ticket prices are subject to increase the day of the events.
The Bourbon Tasting presented by Beam Suntory, Inc. takes place on Friday, January 24th in the Earth Ballroom and will feature a special appearance by 20-year NBA all-star Charles Oakley. Charles most well-known for his time with the New York Knicks in the 90s as a hard playing Power Forward. Guests can get a taste of the finest bourbon from Jim Beam, devour tasty selections from Bear’s Restaurant group and receive a cigar from BoutiqueCigar.com. The Bourbon Tasting presented by Beam Suntory Inc. takes place from 6:00pm – 9:00pm and tickets are $90.
At the Grand Tasting preview, guests can get a sneak peek of the main event while enjoying a performance by Maggie Rose on the Coca-Cola Kitchen Stage. A woman of exceptional versatility and variety, Maggie Rose draws from the many musical genres at play – a love of storytelling and substantive lyrics learned from Country music, an affinity for finely crafted Pop production, R&B’s commitment to an irresistible groove. Maggie Rose is also set to perform a free show in the Wolf Den on Thursday, January 23rd at 8:00pm. Additionally, Ben Robinson of Bravo’s hit series Below Deck/Below Deck Mediterranean will show off his skills with a chef demonstration on the Main Stage presented by Gotham Steel Stack Master. The Grand Tasting will introduce a new chef to Sun Wine & Food Fest. Richard Blais, winner of Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars and recurring judge on Top Chef and Master Chef will join some of the best in the business with a variety of electrifying chef demonstrations on the Main Stage presented by Gotham Steel Stack Master. The Celebrity Chef Dine Around presented by Hendrick’s Gin will tease a taste of TAO with a showcase of dining options by Ralph Scamardella, Partner/Chef with Tao Group Hospitality. TAO Restaurant at Mohegan is set to open this year, featuring a menu of elevated Pan-Asian fare, a beverage program catering to Asian tastes and a robust sake program. Over 25 celebrity chefs will also participate in Mohegan Sun’s signature walk-around event, creating signature food items paired with a wine, beer or spirit. Other celebrity appearances during this event include Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill from Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta and newly-crowned Miss America Camille Schrier. Sun Wine & Food Fest’s Sunday Brunch will be kicked up a notch with the Brunch Battle. Two Connecticut-based chefs will go head-to-head with only 30 minutes to create the best dish to present to celebrity chef judges Aarón Sánchez, Amanda Freitag, Marc Murphy and Maneet Chauhan. Norwich native Ceil Vardar, food writer, cooking instructor and winner of Food Network’s Chopped will face Daniel Monroe, a former US Army culinary specialist and current chef at Fairfield Connecticut’s gourmet grocery store, The Pantry. Mohegan Sun’s newest ultra-lounge novelle wraps up the Sun Wine & Food Fest weekend on Sunday, January 26th with the Champagne Brunch presented by Truly Hard Seltzer. Guests can mix and mingle with Tom & Tom from Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, Miss America, Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill while Brandi Cyrus spins a live DJ set. Live December 20th with The Mohegan Sun All-Stars
UNCASVILLE, CT (December 10, 2019) – Mohegan Sun All-Stars founder and famed front man, David Foster, will be singing to his fans for the last time on Friday, December 20th in Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den. It’s a retirement from a passion he’s enjoyed for a lifetime due to health issues.
David helped form Mohegan Suns first and only “house band,” David Foster & The Mohegan Sun All-Stars, who have performed for over twenty years. The band was inducted into the Wolf Den Hall of Fame on June 15, 2015. For decades, David Foster, owner of Shaboo Productions, has produced countless fundraising concerts to support local non-profit organizations. He gave his voice and band while he showcased many notable entertainers that delighted audiences while giving back to his community.
“David Foster has long been part of Mohegan’s entertainment family and will be forever part of our history,” states Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment’s (MGE) President of Sports & Entertainment, Tom Cantone. “He helped put Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den on the map and was our first and only house band to play in the venue over a span of two decades. We will be forever grateful for the magic he and his band created on stage for all to enjoy and remember forever!”
